A beautiful private setting with gorgeous mountain view. The cabin was so relaxing with rockers on one porch and sun lounge on the other porch. The gas fireplace was delightful for a few cool mornings! So comfortable and well appointed. This location was so easy to enjoy the charming nearby towns and beautiful mountain drives! We can't wait til' our next visit!
Cabin was clean and as advertised. The well water is extremely harsh.

Hi Wesley, The cabin uses mountain well water with natural minerals and a filtration system. We monitor and adjust the system to maintain water quality, as natural factors such as water tables and weather conditions can occasionally affect mountain water
We’re always happy to assist during a stay and encourage guests to reach out so we can quickly take care of anything that may arise. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again
Cabin was extremely clean and quiet! Went to waterfalls and dinners out every day but didn’t need to. Had deer at the grounds every day, bucks, does and fawns. Great stay and I highly recommend staying here.
The cabin was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the ability to have an indoor fire that was easy to use along with the option to do a fire outside with tons of firewood. Everything was clean and the view was incredible! (Even got to see some deer after throwing some corn out in the morning). The grill is a charcoal grill so if planning on grilling bring charcoal. There is a griddler panini press that you can use as well.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We stayed for a week. Great location, convenient to Franklin, Highlands, Bryson City, Nantahala NF. Rooms are very clean with a well appointed kitchen - cozy, but not cramped - plenty of space to stretch out. The best part was relaxing on the porch to watch the sunset over the mountains each evening. Definitely recommend the experience!

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Cozy and cute decor but poor interior lighting; little water pressure in guest bath; lousy grill; lousy mattress
The place was beautiful and peaceful! Had an amazing view! The bed was comfortable which was certainly a plus! My dad recently passed away and this was the perfect place to get away from everything and relax! Both my husband and I hated to leave!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Bearidise Cabin. Cabin is beautifully decorated with original artwork. Toula was a gracious host. Saw Deer and wildlife every day. Great mountain views. Clean and comfortable. We will stay here again.
Wonderful vacation home. Very clean & well stocked with all the necessities. The views are incredible and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Check in and owner communication were 5!! I would recommend one improvement and that would be a new king mattress. We would definitely stay again.Thank you for sharing your home!

I grew up in Cowee Valley; it's my home sweet home. I love the mountains and want to spend as much time back home as I can. So, the cabin was built so I could come back home. While I'm not there, I share my special little cabin with you.
Why they chose this property
The land that the cabin is built on has been in my family for generations. A little old white cabin used to sit near the existing cabin which belonged to my great-grandmother. Growing up in Cowee Valley and missing the presence of her cabin, encouraged me to build this cabin near where the other used to stand. My parent's home is a stone's throw away from the cabin as well as other family members, so, it's a great place for me to take a break, relax and visit family. I love my special cabin and want to share my favorite getaway with you.
What makes this property unique
The cabin was custom built with pure love. It has a beautiful roadside and its forest is home of lots of wildlife.
Franklin and the surrounding area is loaded with beautiful sightseeing, specialty shops, and fun activities. You really have to see the beauty for yourself!
