Our quaint cabin offers so much. Located right off the ATV trails.
A "Little Bit" of God's Country is a small one floor cabin that is ideal for one person or a couple. The cabin is a one bedroom featuring a queen size bed. We named our cabin A "Little Bit" of God's Country because we want to share just a little bit on the glorious mountain that our little cabin sits on. We have enjoyed coming to the mountains to get away for over 30 years and made so many amazing memories. I hope your experience is just as amazing. The cabin is located 100 feet from the ATV and snowmobile trails, the Pennsylvania Rail Trail, near hiking trails, and a short drive from many state parks. There are many great eating establishments close by. We offer an well equipped kitchen or the opportunity to cook over an open fire.

Small cozy house with some of the modern conveniences of life. Isolated enough to get 'away from it all' but close enough to basic services to not be totally out of it.
Stayed a weekend for our anniversary. Cabin was very clean and organized. Cabin had all essentials needed for any stay and the owners were fantastic to work and communicate with. Would definitely recommend!
What a great place to stay. Stan and Lisa ensured that my wife and I would have a wonderful weekend stay by responding quickly to my questions before the trip and provided some highlights for us to experience.
We loved our stay and love the cabin. It has everything we needed. We enjoyed the porch and playing outside and picking wild blueberries. Very convenient location to my family's home.
Lovely birdsong around a little cabin in the woods.
We had a wonderful time getting away to this little cabin. Very comfy bed. Lovely little kitchen. Wonderful back porch. A sweet cat that seemed to want to enjoy our company while we were on the porch. Very little traffic noise despite being close to the road.
We enjoyed riding our bikes along the nearby (20 min away) rail trails. Hope to return someday!
The Little Bit cabin was absolutely perfect. Lovely location, well maintained, & stocked with everything needed for a "just like home" stay. We were very pleased with our accommodations and would recommend it to anyone looking for a private setting for their vacation stay. The Mountain Top Provisions Restaurant just down the road is an excellent eatery too!
I came up to get away from and reset from a wild few weeks at work. Decided to do some fishing at Pine Creek, which was a quick 10-15 min drive. The cabin was very clean and "home-y". I had cell service (Verizon) in case of emergencies. I decided to take advantage of the covered back porch for a thunderstorm that rolled through, which was so peaceful. I will absolutely be back! Huge thank you to the host for such amazing communication and ease of booking.
The property was set up very well. It was very clean and smelled very fresh and clean. It was very comfortable. It is in a prime location for outdoor activities. My wife and I hiked a very hard trail and came out of the woods after 4 nights. We were happy to have a message from the owners permitting us to check in early. Very nice of them. We would gladly stay there again.
This was our second stay at the Little Bit cabin and we absolutely love it. It’s even better than the pictures, so cute and clean, and unbelievably well-stocked with everything you could possibly need! You won’t find better hosts, either. You can legally ride your ATV/UTV directly out of the driveway and onto the Connector trails (requires a permit from a DCNR Forestry office)—we went to Germania, Cross Fork, down to North Bend, back up to Germania via a different route, then back “home” to Haneyville, and there is so much more you can get to as well! But we love the cabin so much we will likely be back even after the trails close for the season. :)
This a great little play very inviting. The cabin was very clean and had most everything you would need. If your coming here for peace and quiet it's not for you. The only downfall was it was just off of a 2 lane road which was very noisy over the weekend. There's an ATV trail real close to cabin so you had the noise from the ATV's plus the vehicle noise. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Thank you!
Property is wonderful. One thing that would be helpful would be to add grab bars to the tub for those of us who have trouble getting in tubs. Or replace tub with just a walk in shower. Anything to improve safety.
The other reviews are spot on! I booked this purely based off of reviews and I can say that I packed 4x the amount of stuff actually needed because I went off of past experiences at cabins. It was so beyond well stocked it amazed me!! It’s spotless and beautifully decorated and the furniture on the back deck is stunning. We actually loved it so much the the night before we were to leave I messaged the owners if it was available an extra night. Super speedy and response and we had an extra evening/morning of peaceful getaway!

Being only 50 feet from a busy highway the traffic was very noisy.
Not having a Wi-Fi connection was very cumbersome.
I turned on the TV, but soon lost all access.
Lastly it was not very convenient for us as our ultimate goal was to attend the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. The drive there and back was a 2-1/2 hour drive.
The house is wonderfully stocked with everything you need and is very clean. I will have to say that the house is close to the road and the road is busy. Traffic does start early. Also the blind in the bedroom is white (when the blinds in the rest of the house are brown) and there is a pole light right outside the bedroom window which makes it seem like it is daylight in the bedroom all night. We also went with the intention of going to the PA Grand Canyon which we drove an hour and a half to get to only to find out that the park was closed. Very disappointing. All in all it was a nice stay. Would not stay again mostly because of the location to the road.
My husband and I stayed at The Little Bit for the primary purpose of riding our side-by-side directly out of the driveway and onto the ATV trails, and it was just perfect. The cabin is adorable--perfect size for the two of us. It is well-stocked with everything we could need.
I noticed a review or two expressing concern about the road out front, but the road did not bother us one bit. In fact, with as lovely and serene as the back porch is, we often opted to sit on the front porch instead! We actually enjoyed watching the cars go by, and we still felt like it was quite private. The traffic never got to be too much, and we were there Friday through Monday. In fact there were plenty of really long stretches of time where there were no cars at all, especially in the evenings. We just didn't find it to be an issue at all, and I am usually sensitive to these kinds of things because we live in the country where there is almost no noise of any kind.
There are so many nice places to eat nearby! Smaller ones that shouldn't be forgotten include Fin Fur & Feather (they have a small diner inside called the Black Bear Diner), and Lost Acres Campground (especially for breakfast). There is, of course, the big ones such as The Mountaintop, but that is often quite busy and can be difficult to get into. And the Black Forest Inn is always good--this one is furthest away, but still not far, and totally worth the drive. And don't forget Pat Reeder's tavern! SO delicious!
