Sam and Carol were great hosts. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for our ski group! We were pleasantly surprised on the well stocked kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare all kinds of different meals throughout our stay, and then some! The hot tub was enjoyed every night after skiing. The fireplace and Rooftop deck were wonderful as well. Well equipped office area made the few days I had to work easy! Making it to the slopes was easy via car and we found a few walkable trails to get there and back. Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful place!!

Great place to stay for trips to Snowmass (2 min drive)

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The place was spacious and homey, and you cannot get much closer to Snowmass Mountain without it being ski-in/ski-out. I would highly recommend staying here, but I also would recommend renting a car/SUV.

Stayed with college age children for spring break skiing. Had a great time. Comfortable beds and kitchen was well stocked. Close to the mountain and had a nice hot tub. Owners were very nice and receptive

This property had everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms. What would have made it perfect would have been a small bath on the main level. Flowers and landscape beautiful. I must also say that the people in Snowmass are some of the nicest I’ve met in the world.

Sam and Carol were excellent hosts - easy to communicate with and flexible with our early check-in. Their home was great - just as advertised. The hot tub was a nice addition. Beautiful condo with great location

The condo was beautiful and had all of the amenities you could ask for. Sam was very responsive and helpful when I had a question. The location was ideal for a ski vacation. It was an easy drive to all of the mountains and close to bus routes to Aspen.

39 inches of snow vacation!

We really enjoyed the house it was very convenient to everything. Everyday that we boarded we drove to the town park and took the bus up to the mall which is free. The house has alot of amenities that you don't find in rentals...spices, selection of pots and pans, containers to put your leftovers in ect.

Home away from home

We had an amazing time! The house was super cozy and very comfortable. It was super well equipped for cooking and enjoying the house. 5’ driving distance from the base. Sam and Carol were incredible hosts and comunicating w them was a text away. I would a 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to feel at home in beautiful Snowmass.

Spring Break

Enjoyed spring skiing in Aspen. Owners were great with communications and instructions prior to arrival. Great location in Snowmass, but also easy to get to Buttermilk and Aspen the back way. More than enough space for the 3 of us. Kitchen was well stocked and cooked at home most nights. Had great decks which would be fantastic in the summer and fall.

Great location and services

We had a great time staying at this property for a week of skiing at Aspen Snowmass.. The property is conveniently located in Snowmass (a very short drive or 15-20 min walk to the Snowmass ski resort base area). We used a combination of driving/shuttle bus system to get to the other three mountains. Garages can be filled up quickly so early arrival and planning for additional commuting time are highly recommended. The host was very helpful and reachable. When one of the toilets broke down, it was immediately fixed. The host’s instructions were very clear and check-out procedures were quite smooth.

Great place

The house is great. Has everything you need. Good size for a family. Kitchen has every gadget you could think of. Comfy couches in the family room, with plenty of space for everyone. En suite bathrooms for all 3 bedrooms. Loved the master bed/bath. We had an issue with the hot tub, but a flip of the breaker switch fixed that. Can't walk to the slopes, but it’s only a few minute drive and parking is free when you have at least 4 in the car. And it doesn't fill up at the Two Creek lift, even during spring break, which is when we stayed. Aspen is so lovely, even my 9 and 13 year olds said they want to come back in the summer.

Charming Home in the trees.

The home is charming, warm and had everything needed for a week long stay. Very comfortable family room with gas fire place. Kitchen was fully equipped and functioned well. Basic spices provided, plan to purchase everything else. Grocery store is a 3-5 minute drive away. The walk to the village shuttle stop was 10-12 minutes in ski boots. You need to download the Snowmass Village Shuttle App to summon the shuttle for pick ups and returns which gives you the ETA to your pickup point. Otherwise, the shuttle does not make regular runs to the shuttle stop nearest the house. Depending on show conditions and traffic it's a 5 - 15 minute drive to the base village for covered paid parking. Owner has camera recording the hot tub.

Charming and comfortable mountain home

This was the second time we stayed here and we had another great week. The house is about a 2 minute drive to Assay Hill and about 4 minutes to the Base Village. The house is 4 stories but somehow it does not feel like too many stairs…! The layout is wonderful - two bedrooms and baths on the lowest floor with a walkout to the hot tub. The middle floor has the family room with a large comfortable sectional plus another sofa, so there is plenty of seating. The kitchen has good appliances, is well stocked with cookware and has lots of spices, condiments, paper products and pantry items. There is a large deck off the dining room with a gas grill. The third floor has the master bedroom and bath. There is also a desk nook and a top floor deck. I highly recommend!!

Very comfortable home in quiet area

We had four friends spend a week here for a ski trip in February. It's a beautiful home and very well-appointed. I've never rented a house that had a kitchen and pantry as well stocked as this one. Everything you need for cooking and plenty of essential supplies were already there, making shopping and cooking our meals incredibly easy. As the owners noted before our arrival, it is highly recommended to have a vehicle. There are two spots to park and it's a very quick trip to the store or village base. The nearest shuttle stop (#6) is about 1/2 a mile or an 8-10 minute walk. You need to call the shuttle to have them pick you up, as it's not a regular stop. If you are up for the walk, there is a ski trail directly across the street from the stop that you will take you to Assay Hill. It's fairly flat and there are uphill spots going in both directions but it's doable if you're in decent shape. All in all, a great place for a family or smaller group of friends. The hosts were very helpful in getting us checked in and out and always responded quickly.

Super family friendly cottage right next to Snowmass Village

Stonehaven is a fantastic cottage just minutes away from Snowmass Village. The house has a very welcoming vibe, very comfortable for a family or a two couples wanting to enjoy a ski week in Snowmass. The house is well decorated, has ample light and is well equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable spending a week or more. The kitchen has everything you need, the internet connection is super fast, and in the living room it has a big smart tv to enjoy cable as well as all your streaming services. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time in Snowmass.

Comfortable home

This home was clean & comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked & usable. The master bed is comfortable; the queen not as comfortable. We found a car was a plus since the shuttle is a half mile, which seems far when carrying skis. We did have trouble figuring out the shuttle system & the shuttle that will pickup at condo had 2-3 hour waits. The owner responded quickly & was great to work with.

Why they chose this property

It has been a dream of ours to own a mountain home and to be in a place like Aspen/Snowmass where you have all of the mountain activities but also the cultural influence of a destination like Aspen is the best of both worlds. I have enjoyed this house as a romantic get away with my husband, a family friendly/memory making vacation, and as a special trip with my favorite girlfriends. It truly has something for everyone at every season. It is a dream come true!

This property is a place to enjoy nature. It is private and secluded...surrounded by trees and wildlife. We see deer on a daily basis. We enjoy time in the English Garden. We have various sitting areas to take in the fresh mountain air, enjoy meals with family and friends and appreciate all that this destination has to offer.
