The space
This 3 story Whitefish vacation home has 3700 square feet of living space packed with all the comforts of home. This home has large windows for showcasing its jaw-dropping views of Whitefish Lake and a large deck perfect in summer! This home is perfect for two families wanting to share one house as the downstairs level is a two-bedroom unit with its own kitchen and dining area.

The floor plan is inviting with a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cookware for making a great dinner at home! The Dining area just off the kitchen is perfect to enjoy a home-cooked meal together or play a game with a view! The dining table seats 6 with 4 more spots at the kitchen bar! Kick back and relax in the cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen TV when the sun sets and wind down from your adventures! The main floor also has a full bathroom with a shower.

On the upper level, you will find 3 bedrooms! The master suite has a Queen-size bed, spacious closet and a large en-suite full bathroom. The master bath has a gorgeous tub, stand up double shower and double vanity. Bedroom #2 moonlights as both an office and bedroom. This bedroom has a Queen-Size bed. Bedroom #3 has a Queen-Size bed. There is also another full bath on this floor.

On the lower level, you will find a spacious 2 bedroom apartment unit complete with its own kitchen, dining and living room areas! The living room area has a large sectional and flatscreen TV! Bedroom #4 has a King-size bed, Closet, and TV. Bedroom #5 is perfect for the kids having two Twin over Twin bunks and a TV. The lower level has 2 full bathrooms as well!
This home is perfect for a large family with multiple generations or a group of friends traveling together!

Enjoy the beautiful views of Whitefish Lake off the deck of the home! A new hot tub has been added for your enjoyment as well as a BBQ grill and seating during the warmer months.

Great family home!

This property was fantastic for our little family reunion. Plenty of beds and space for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the wildlife off the back porch. The view is incredible! Close to town and a good home base to explore Glacier National Park.

The house is a well-loved, comfortable home whose best asset is the location among the trees and wonderful view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee and in the evening with drinks. We appreciated the added touch of the humming bird feeder with an extra pre-mix of nectar waiting for our use.

Nice house with great views

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful great views. The house was exactly as described. Spent every day in the hot tub. Great location to Glacier, about a 40 minute drive. The town of Whitefish is 10 minutes away and a great shopping town. House is on a busier road but you don't hear it in the house. GNP was very busy so we spent time hiking the local area.

I was very pleased with the house and location. 4 couples stayed with plenty of room, didn’t need the bunk room which was good as it is a pass through room in the downstairs. We had everything needed to cook at home and grill. The views of the lake and mountains were amazing. Very close to downtown Whitefish and 45 min to Apgar entrance and about 1 hr drive to Flathead lake The hot tub was perfect after hiking. I didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay very much, everything was as described. The large master bath was amazing for the bridal party to get ready in! Plenty of bathrooms and space for everyone. The hot tub was enjoyed every night after days spent hiking at Glacier National Park. The owner was helpful with activities in the area, and answered my texts promptly. We would all love to stay again in the future...maybe on the kids 10th anniversary:)

Treehouse for the win

We absolutely loved our stay. From the great perch on the mountain with lake and New Year's Eve fireworks views, to an easy commute up the hill for skiing, the house was cozy and comfortable. We found the kitchen very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes...everything you need for a great visit. We can highly recommend this home for families. Small note: If you have elderly family members that can't navigate stairs, this one might not be the right fit.

Great House

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Mountain Treehouse. There were seven adults sharing and the space worked well for us.The house was well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and the hot tub after our hikes The location was very quiet with a great view. We were very close to downtown Whitefish and a easy drive to Glacier National Park. We had a few quesitons, which were answered quickly by our host, Doug.Thanks for a wonderful place to stay while we were in Montana.
