All our living spaces enjoy the morning sun, making the house bright and airy. With 3 outdoor areas offering places to eat, sunbathe, relax and look across the village rooftops and beyond. A lovely relaxed feeling.
Our house is in the heart of a traditional Spanish village, where the locals are friendly and endearing. There are many amenities on the doorstep including 2 supermarkets, petrol & repairs, bars, restaurants, newsagent, pharmacy, dentist, optician, doctor, hairdressers, barber, beauty salon, post office and the traditional church square where many fiestas and celebrations are enjoyed by the locals and holidaymakers alike. Just 20 mins from the coast, 30 from the airport and 40 from Murcia city.
Upon entering, the marble stairs take you to the first floor with open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Large patio doors allow the light to flood in, tempting you onto the Juliet balcony.
We have created a comfy and inviting space for you to relax, cook and dine. You should find everything you need in our well equipped kitchen.
Also on this level, the 2nd bedroom with double bed, hanging clothes rail and nightstands. It's not the largest of rooms but provides a comfortable bed with stylish fittings and bedding.
From the stairs is a small lobby with doors to: Family shower room with walk-in shower, toilet , basin, LED mirror and window.
Courtyard at the rear with storage unit housing the laundry facilities. Quite a nice little area to sit and catch some breeze and shade, we have provided a rattan sofa, foldaway table and outdoor rug to set the scene.
Our favourite room is the spacious master suite, occupying the entire top floor with great light and its own ensuite shower room and roof terrace. A private area overlooking the village rooftops, views of the countryside, mountains and glimpses of the Mar Menor. Enjoy this area with sun loungers, dining set and parasol. A great spot for breakfast as the sun rises, sunbathing, dining and evening drinks soaking up the Spanish lifestyle.
Please note that there are stairs to the accommodation, if you have limited mobility, we feel this property will not be suitable for you.
La Casita Amarilla provides you with a whole house for yourself, where you can enjoy privacy and to come and go as you please.
Close enough to walk into the village and visit the variety of bars, restaurants and cafes.
Sucina is a residential/ working village where many Spanish families have lived for generations. It will take you back to traditional times, with friendly locals and the bank manager knowing you by your first name.
Enjoy fiestas, carnivals and entertainment many times in the year.
Travel is easy from Sucina.. within 15-20 minutes you can reach the shore line of the Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lake. Historical cities of Cartegena and Murcia within 25/30 minutes and Murcia International Airport within 30 minutes.
January 2026: we advise that construction work will start on a plot of land opposite the house.
