This is not a resort. It is an older cottage in moderate repair. My stay coincided with a family reunion so the small beachfront was not accessible without walking through groups of people. I felt uncomfortable. Pier is in questionable shape. Family was nice but it felt intrusive. Found drug paraphernalia in a drawer while looking for a coaster. It was disappointing for such a high cost. Bathroom had chipped floor I caught my foot in and gaps where trim was pulled away from the wall. Saw a large spider run into it several times.Electric extension cord in bedroom had a short so I unplugged it.

Meaux

The cabin was the perfect size for myself and my two grown sons. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe and fire pit. Grilled out a couple of nights, saw a bald eagle and even witnessed a comet streaking across the Star-filled sky. Thank you!
