Great place. Awesome lake view. The host Courtney was great. The inside was very clean and updated. The only issue was the deck area was in need of maintenance.
Property location and cleanliness excellent. Only issue was there was a limit on the temperature setting for the heat. Asked for the temperature to be set at 75 and host would not go above 72 degrees. During the day was fine but evening and early morning the house was chilly when the temperature outside were in the low fifties.

Thank you for your feedback, John. We’re so glad you enjoyed the property’s location and cleanliness. We would like to clarify that the original request was to set the heat to 78° throughout the day and evening, not just during the evening and early morning as the review suggests. During this October stay, temperatures were unseasonably warm, with daytime highs in the 80s, making it unreasonable to run the heat at such high settings. We understand that indoor temperature preferences vary and we strive to balance guest comfort with the proper operation and care of the home’s HVAC system.
Overall we found the accommodations very nice. The house was very clean and fully stocked. We had easy access to the lake for rides in our kayaks. Local shops and cafes were easily accessed within minutes.Complaints include the following: Folks found the bathroom / shower floor painful to stand on barefooted; a lot of spiders were seen in the great area; when we left it was raining which created a large 3 inch deep water puddle under the front door that folks had to step in; and, the back yard grass we walked through to access the lake was quite long and should have been mowed.Thanks.
Our stay was wonderful!I highly recommend !The view of the lake and trees lots of different kinds of birds to watch . Even saw some Eagles fly out of the trees across the lake . Conveniently located to many places . Thanks for a peaceful weekend .5 stars
Great place, easy to communicate with owner, had what we needed. Great location for hocking hills and buckeye trail hikes, fishing was great off the property’s beach/grass!
We had a wonderful stay at this lakefront home. The views of the lake were beautiful and easily the highlight of the property—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well laid out, and it had everything we needed for a great stay. The hot tub was great and added an extra touch of relaxation. The location felt quiet and private, yet still convenient to restaurants, hiking and even a grocery store. It was a relaxing getaway and we have already re-booked for this summer!
