We enjoyed staying in this cozy little cabin! It was a great use of space. The kids loved the outdoor space. It was the perfect location to all of our favorite hiking spots. We will probably be back!
What an amazing cabin and location! Very clean, easy check in. Great hot tub overlooking a rock formation, creek, and fire pit. Secluded and quiet and close to all the Hocking Hills sites.
Our stay was one of the best cabins we have stayed in. It was our 10 year Anniversary. The setting was rustic and sitting on the back porch looking at the rock wall and listening to the creek was so relaxing. All your stress just leavea your body. The cabin was so cozy inside. Everything was very clean. It rained for a few hours when we got back from a couple hikes, so we sat in the hot tub and listened and watched it rain. It was just so perfect! When i would message our host she got back with me right away. We give this cabin a 5 star.
Everything was great we had everything we needed cabin was clean and the view was awesome my children loved the hot tub and my daughter really enjoyed playing in the creek I would recommend this cabin to anyone thanks
The cabin was very easy to book and check in. The host answered any and all questions promptly. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's in a peaceful private location but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. We appreciate that our dog was allowed to stay with us! We had a great time staying at this cabin and hiking the trails at hocking hills.
Cabin is bigger than shown in pictures. Very clean! Hot tub was great! When it snowed, they had guys come out and shovel the driveway. We loved the bear! The fireplace made everything so cozy. It started to beep but someone came out to fix it while we were out enjoying the parks. Only complaint is the bed. If you weigh over 100lbs, the memory foam sinks in after so long and you are sleeping on a rock. Kids loved the bunk beds! Loved that the cabin is pet friendly!
We stayed here for our girls trip and we absolutely loved it. It was so clean and such a beautiful peaceful spot. We enjoyed the property and the creek as well.
This was our first time staying in this cabin and everything about it was amazing! It was cozy, & clean. Our kids played most of their time in the creek out back. It’s also close to everything if you wanted to go anywhere! Definitely coming back to this cabin!
The cabin was absolutely beautiful & is close to all of the hocking hills trails. Perfect getaway with family & made it so much better being able to bring our dog.Thank you for a beautiful stay. ❤️ Whetsons
The Rock cabin was wonderful for having an early Christmas gathering with our daughter’s family. The hot tub and fire pit were fun for relaxing and roasting marshmallows, the cabin had everything we needed.

The property around the cabin was beautiful! The backyard is where we spend most of our time and it was very inviting! The beds were comfortable. The cabin itself was adorable and cozy! Love the location as well. Couldnt have picked a better cabin for us. Loved it!
We took a short winter getaway with our teenage kids to do some hiking for winter break. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed an outdoor fire at night, hot tubbing after hiking, and playing games on the large dining table.
LOVE this property and would definitely stay again. Its location to the HH sites is perfect and the property is beautiful! My main complaint was the bed. It’s memory foam type of bed and normally I would have no issue but both myself and my husband had lower back pain throughout the nights. The mattress appears to be a bit worn in the sleeping zones. I do feel like the main bedroom needs a blind or full curtains to block out that outside light. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay there immensely!
My family and I had a wonderful weekend staying in this cozy little cabin. The host was easy to talk to and responded quickly. Check in was easy, just grab the key from the lock box and you're in! I really liked the location of the cabin. It was easy to get to, but far enough away from major roads that it felt like we were comfortably secluded. Overall a great stay, I'll remember this cabin next time I go to Hocking Hills.
We loved our stay at you lovely cabin. There are a few suggestions that would have given it 5 stars however.1) the wooden stairs were extremely noisy and kept some family members awake at night2) the ceiling fan closest to the side door is extremely off balance making loud noises.3)it would be nice to have a iron.4)upstairs bedrooms need curtains or blinds to keep light out for early sleepers5)seeing there are no closets it would be nice to have more hooks to hang clothes6)a extra small chair in living room to accommodate at least 5 people7) we really do not want to be negative because we throughly loved our stay. Very nice cabin. We loved the hot tub and the backyard setting. They were awesome !
Absolutely adorable cabin - very cozy with every need considered. The setting cannot be amply described as words aren't adequate. Simply heavenly landscape with gorgeous sites and sounds. Will definitely be back!

Our writing group wanted a quiet place for a long weekend retreat where we could write and talk book things (5 adults plus one dog). We loved this property - it was just as advertised, clean when we arrived, and we felt very safe. It’s near all things you’d want for a quintessential Hocking Hills experience. We’d love to come back. The only thing I’d mention is to make the number/address sign on the cabin bigger as we had trouble spotting it from the road. Thanks!
Absolutely met and exceeded our needs and expectations. Was clean, tidy, seamless entry/check-in, all necessities were there plus some nice 'extras'. Description 100% matched the property. Couldn't have asked for more! As life long Ohio residents, we have inexplicably never visited the area before. What fun and beauty! Took 3 grandkids 7 - 10 and they cant wait to return, either!
Bedspreads desperately need cleaning, pillows were poor, frying pans quite worn and due for replacement. Hate to hype it too much, or we'll never find it available again - and there will be a next time (we hope). Thanks to all - our first VRBO experience - all 5 stars.
My husband and I and our two older boys had a wonderful time in hocking hills and the cabin made the trip so special and so memorable for us!!! Hands down best cabin we have stayed in! We could tell the owners really cared for this place!! We were amazed at how clean and beautiful our cabin looked!! 😍 Only 15-20 min from Hocking Hills State Park too! ....We also absolutely loved the unique Rock wall view in the back of the cabin with lots of privacy , the fire pit, barbacue grille and especially LOVED the hot tub and we were in that hot tub every morning and night!!! Lol.. Everything in our cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and decorated soo cute ! We will 100% be back! Thank u so much for allowing dogs in the cabin too! Our dog Rex is a big part of our family and got to enjoy the creek in the back and the cabin too. We have all the memories with him with us too! ❤️🥰❤️ Thank u so much!!
Even thought mother nature did not cooperate and we began our journey with a power outage, the property manager was amazing and was able to get us in the first night when power was restored. The house was a beautiful setting to have a family Christmas with the snow covered propery looking out on at the giant rock wall out the back door.
It couldn't have been a better setting for our first family Christmas vacation. Hoping the next ones will be just as amazing. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your cabin!!

Why they chose this property
Rockside is centrally located in the Hocking Hills and within close proximity (10-25 minutes), to most of the popular state and national parks and hiking trails. The cabin is separated by the large rock formation by a gently flowing creek. The rear porch, where the hot tub is located, overlooks the scenic rock formation and is private and secluded.
