Enjoy views of the surrounding forest from the open-space living area or get closer to nature on the HUGE deck running the complete 50-foot length of the loft. Huge open-plan living/kitchen/dining, office, fast wifi, queen in primary bedroom, full-over-full in second bedroom with twin trundle pull-out suitable for child.

Get your outdoors-on! We’re located minutes from dozens of amazing hiking trails, river access points, Goodspeed Musicals, Gilette’s Castle, and more!

Pets and over-sized vehicles ARE WELCOME!

Why they chose this property

I grew up in town and after leaving the US (for Australia) for a while, it made sense to 'come home' when we came home. East Haddam is a quiet, rural-ish town but you are never far from the day-to-day amenities. This is a GREAT place to get outdoors - SO many hiking trails, the Airline trail, river access, lots of leaf-peeping in the autumn!
