Welcome to Bailey's Woodland Retreat - a tranquil, 8-acre wooded sanctuary with nearby lake access and all the amenities of home! Perfect for a quiet couples' getaway or for big family fun. Private forest pavilion to read/relax, 5 person hot tub, large open yard, fire pit, outdoor living space, & 4 kayaks with Beaver Lake nearby. Beautiful in all seasons. Kid & pet friendly. Pet fee: $100 Great cellphone signal and WiFi. Downtown Rogers-10 miles. Beaver Lake-1.6 miles

The space
A long private, wooded driveway opens to a large clearing with house and out buildings. House features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and is a complete home with kitchen and laundry amenities. Lodging options include: Master bedroom - king bed with en suite full bath; Bedroom #2 - queen bed; Bedroom #3 - full over queen bunkbed; & full sofa sleeper in living room. There is also a full bath in hallway between bedrooms 2 and 3. We proudly offer plant based cleaners, hand soap, and bathing products providing you a space free from harmful chemicals and a more natural experience.

There is seating on the front porch and an outdoor living room on the back patio as well as a 5-person hot tub. The front yard is spacious enough for family games such as frisbee, kickball, whiffle ball, and flag football. The back yard features a tree swing and a fire pit with seating.

One of the most beloved features of this home is the meditation "pavilion" you'll find about half-way down the drive. This is a private shelter built on the edge of the forest with a swinging chair, 2-person porch swing, and a loft. This sanctuary is the perfect spot to read, sip coffee, or take the perfect nap.

Razorback fans can be calling the hogs in just 45 min and have peace & quiet to enjoy after the big game.

Beaver lake may be easily accessed by taking a short trip down a dirt road adjacent to property - about 1.6 miles. Or by traveling to Pebble Beach (6.5 miles) or Prairie Creek Marina (14 miles.) Rent a boat or use our kayaks: explore the lake or just laze about. You choose what's zen to you!
We want you to relax, have fun, and love our retreat as much as we do!

Guest access
The entire home and grounds are yours to explore. Any closet or space that is private will be locked or clearly inaccessible.

Pets
We love our pups and understand that furbabies are family so we are happy to allow families to bring a 4-legged family member along. In doing so, please follow these guidelines: limit pets to one per visit/group and bring only pets that are house broken and do NOT chew or dig (so unfortunately no puppies.) We know that accidents happen so please help us keep our retreat open to pets by thoroughly cleaning up any accidents and picking up poop in common areas. ($100 pet fee)

Also note:
The property is in Arkansas near a lake & surrounded by forestry so we highly recommend bringing along insect repellent and being mindful of ticks when you are exploring.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Trash goes in container in small garage next to house. There is a regular entry door in back. Please ensure all garage doors are closed due to critters.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Top bunk in Bedroom 3 is available to groups of 8 only. Please do NOT use top bunk unless you have 8 guests in your party.
Hot tub is set to 88 degrees. You may turn it up to 102 degrees using keypad during your stay. Please return to 88 degrees before departure.

The house was great it was please full,and secluded Hot tub was great but the road leading to the house was was not very good it was about a mile from main road.. luckily for us I decided to drive my car which took a beating on the road.my husband and our friend drove there motorcycles of course we were there for the BBB.no way could they drive down that road with out crashing and possibly hurting themselves…I suggest that if someone tells the host they are traveling on bikes they should be informed about the road..luckily for us there was a nice gentleman at the start of the road that let us park the bikes at his house and drive my car to the house so it wasn’t a total loss..the property would be great for exploring on 4 wheelers,side by sides…..

Father’s Day Weekend away

We had a wonderful time! Loved the home and layout. Loved the swing, used the hot tub and went to the lake and swam. Beautiful area. Went to a nearby wedding of friends, ate at local restaurants, shopped. We ended by going to Pea Ridge Military Park. Would stay here again. Had a great time with grandchildren and adult children!

The house is great, clean, and we had a wonderful stay. The road in is a little rough. If you do not have an SUV or truck you won’t make it to the house.

Overall nice

Check in was easy, the hot tub which is one of the main highlighted amenities was filthy. Contacted the host and she told us twice to try and clean it out and fix the water level ourselves and if that didn’t work she would have someone come out. Sent pictures which she acknowledged how dirty it was even. So we didn’t get to use it the first night and I’m the morning it was still bothering me so I asked her to have someone come out and clean it since again, its frustrating one of the main reasons I booked wasn’t even clean and I was having to do it myself? She had her family come out and we watched them skimming the pool and fishing things out for about 10+ minutes. Then I got a text where she basically said I was lying about everything and she didn’t know what I was talking about. Even with prior photo proof and acknowledgement. Other than that the place is beautiful and in a very relaxing and secluded spot.

My husband and I have 6 children and 5 grandchildren and love spending time with them at every opportunity. We currently have 2 short term rental properties: one at the Gulf in Alabama and one at Beaver Lake in Arkansas. I stay pretty busy managing those as well as a Wellness Center in Gulf Shores, AL. In addition we do volunteer work for the Dream Center of Baldwin County and serve at our church, Calvary Chapel Foley. Our hobbies include traveling, reading, boating, and spending time on our local beaches.

Why they chose this property

Bailey's Woodland Retreat is situated on 8 acres which is what we first loved about it: the seclusion and quiet. The house is at the end of a long driveway so there is no nearby traffic. It truly is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle and a great place to unwind, whether sitting in the pavilion sipping coffee with a good book or lounging in the hot tub or sitting around the fire pit. It is also close to Beaver Lake with a little side road access to a semi-private gravel beach: the perfect place to launch a kayak or just float on rafts.

What makes this property unique

It is our goal for Bailey's Woodland Retreat to be a place for couples or families to unplug from the outside world and reconnect with each other and nature. The property is brimming with wildlife with deer grazing in the mornings and evenings and woodland creatures and birds making thier homes in the forest surrounding the house. There is an acre of cleared land around the house with plenty of room for ourdoor games. Beaver Lake is nearby for water activities and we have 4 kayaks in the garage for guest use (must have own means to transport to lake.) This is truly a unique property with all the benefits of a secluded getaway, yet minutes from town and lake fun!
