Welcome to our cozy Airbnb! This mother-in-law apartment offers a private entrance, 1 bed, 1 bath, 2 queen beds, kitchen, large soaking tub, washer/dryer, snow plowing, harbor proximity, cross-country trails, mountain views. No shared spaces inside. Outdoors you can enjoy views of Resurrection Bay + Mountains as well as out outdoor firepit which is shared with the upstairs unit. Book now for a relaxing stay!

Occasionally you may see us coming and going through the shared driveway or on the upstairs porch. We will respect your privacy, but if you need anything we are just a message away.

New development neighborhood and generally a quiet community; however, occasionally you may see or hear some construction throughout the neighborhood.

Location: We are located in Seward's newest development around the corner from Gateway Park. We are .6 miles from the train depot. Please note: Google and Apple maps sometimes do not take you to the right place. Please refer to the map in our house manual.

During the summer, there is a local shuttle that stops by the Seward Visitor's Center about .7 miles away. Taxi or rental car recommended.

Upstairs our family of 5 resides, including our 3 children and occasionally is rented out during summer to other Airbnb guests. While we try to be quiet and respectful - our kiddos are still kids - so please note that there may be occasional noise heard within Alagnaq Suite. We provide a white noise machine and earplugs for your convenience. Quiet hours of 10pm-6am are respected.

Kindly be aware: The property is situated in a recently developed area within Seward’s newest neighborhood and occasional daytime construction might occur within the vicinity. Property is being developed on East side of home. Construction may occur during summer 2024 within the hours of 8am-5pm.

If you are looking for a remote property with acreage away from it all, this is not the property for you. However if you want something convenient to town and all that Seward has to offer, Alagnaq is a great fit. Provided on site is a noise machine, black out curtains, ear plugs, should you wish to sleep off your jet lag or enjoy a long quiet nap.
