The host was excellent! He was great at communicating. This property had everything we needed for our stay. Beach chairs, towels, cooler plus every pot and pan for the kitchen. The view was great!

As soon as we walked into the room the ocean was right there. I couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque view. The only issue was that the bathroom door did not close.

We have stayed at Playa Azul I twice in the past and love the Luquillo area. Our unit was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. Abdel was very accommodating and helpful. We would stay there again.

Everything you can ask for

Beautiful vacation. From Abdel, who was outstanding from the beginning to the end, to the apartment everything was perfect. The place is clean and quiet and had all we needed for the vacation we planned. The breeze, the ocean, the beach, the day and night time on the balcony was something to remember. The complex also has parking, swimming pool, tennis court, security and more than easy access to the beach. Definitely we will be back next year.

A taste of paradise

We have been coming to this location for many years this is one of the cleanest units we have stayed in. The owner has done a great job adding a few extra amenities like oven and microwave. This unit has been updated with soft muted tones. 10/10

Another Incredible stay in this condo!

This was our second stay in this condo. We felt the need to return here after our first incredible stay here, last year. (Please scroll down to my first -still accurate- review dated March 25, 2023.) Very clean property and condo, with the friendliest staff. The location is perfect, with so much to do in such a short drive. We visited El Yunque again, and this time did a self-guided walking tour of Old San Juan, that was truly stunning. Again, the view from the condo and balcony is over-whelmingly beautiful! Obviously, I would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!

First! It has many of the items needed for the beach, towels, chairs, cooler and bags to take to the beach. The unit was very clean, beware that to sit on the balcony you need to turn off the mini split or you will cook. Also, make sure to get a parking pass at the gate and check in at the desk, we didn’t know that and had a kind of rude reception from the security team. Loved this unit and the area, great pastry shop around the corner with amazing frappes!

Wonderful stay in beautiful Luquillo

The property is actually nicer than the pictures. Amazing view out the balcony and a nice table and stools out there for breakfast overlooking the ocean. Well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed. AC in bedroom was great and quiet. Fan in living room was all that was needed given the great breezes off of the water. Been coming to Luquillo since 1979. Playa Azul is a great location with many wonderful restaurants nearby, and great facilities (pool, bball court) on the property. Only addition I would recommend is a basketball! Loved our stay.

Gorgeous view!

We stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed it very much. A highlight was having breakfast on the balcony with an incredible view of the beach. Apartment was convenient to local dining, grocery store, drug store, and beach. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation, including 2 comfortable beach chairs and a small cooler for a picnic lunch. This is in one of 3 buildings that have good parking and security, as well as beach access, outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach, and a swimming pool. The owner was very responsive with the few questions we had while we were there.

Great place in great location

The place was very clean and nice. View was amazing, sound of the waves was great and the breeze off the water was so nice. Steps from the beach and there's a very good beginners snorkeling spot right up the beach. Beach does get crowded with locals during local holidays but it's a fun environment (music, grills, etc.) Building has good security and parking. Location was perfect for us - right off Hwy 3 so it was easy for bouncing from there to San Juan, Fajardo and El Yunque. And it's super close to the Kioskos - a huge group of restaurants with a lot of fun food. Adbel was super flexible about timing and helped us out quite a bit. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful but had no check-in information

Beautiful! The property was very accurate to the listing. The only negative was I received no check-in information or instructions. The positive to that was, the property manager was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to all communications. We were able to call to get the door code and he responded promptly to text messages. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent Location

This property was perfect for our stay in PR. Right on the beach, live coral just up the cove to the north west (left side of cove facing ocean) 20 min to El Yunque, 20 to Seven Seas Beach, Fortuna next cove over. San Juan only 1 hr away... Great Location... The only issue I had was that "washer and dryer" was listed but there was none. The property owner directed me to a local coin laundry which was not only inconvenient but not even open.

Perfect Vacation Apartment

This apartment was everything we'd hoped for and so much more. The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. The gorgeous ocean view from the balcony made it hard to leave the apartment - as a matter of fact, we extended our stay because we really didn't want to leave! The location is ideal; Luquillo is a lovely beach and not nearly as crowded as many other spots. Good swimming, long walks on the sand, relaxed atmosphere, and conveniently located near lots of great food and El Yunque. In addition to the fabulous apartment, Abdel is extremely helpful and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of to ensure the perfect vacation. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a vacation in paradise!

Had a great time!

I carefully read all of the reviews before selecting this property. I can attest the previous reviews were right! A charming, very clean apartment with a gorgeous view of the ocean, it also had all of the amenities one would need for a beach vacation. We were looking for a place that was quiet, uncrowded yet within driving distance to other attractions and it didn't disappoint. We had a small glitch connecting to the Wi-Fi but the owner was very responsive and helped to resolve the matter quickly. One suggestion: keep a sheet with instructions on how to connect to the Wi-Fi next to the router. Had a great time and appreciate the owner going over and above to ensure our stay was memorable!

A beautiful place to stay

This is the second year we were staying for more than one month in the Playa Azul apartment. We were pleased from the beginning to the end. Abdel is a wonderful manager and you can't ask for a more receptive guy. Answering the phone 24/7 and if there is a problem it will be solved in the shortest time. Congratulation Abdel for the way you treat your guests ! Otherwise the complex and the apartment has everything from parking, security, all the amenities that are listed, a beautiful view and the beach across the street. George
