The location was stellar & the house was perfect it every way possible. Owners were the BEST with communication & ensuring we had everything we needed.
Wonderful accommodations. Very clean and well appointed. Adult sons enjoyed the skee ball and video games. Highly recommend this cabin for easy access to Yellowstone and Teton.
This cabin was amazing, extremely clean, well taken care off, and had amazing views. The entire stay was perfect and we had an amazing trip. The owners were so helpful and responsive even checking in with us while we were there. 5 stars all around.
The cabin was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The cabin was stocked with everything you need when you are traveling. The host was great at communicating about the cabin and was very responsive to any questions. The host made the stay easy. It is a great place to stay if you want a nice place to stay with a great view!
The property is well-maintained and described accurately. Communication was swift and helpful. After long days of hiking at Yellowstone National Park, the house offered all the comforts of home. My family especially enjoyed the nostalgic fun of the Skeeball game. The views from the porch, bedroom windows, and great room window are stunning and were very much appreciated in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with beer.
Communication with host was easy and friendly. The cabin is located in a quiet area with amazing views of Henry's Lake. It is a short drive to the west entrance of YNP and Upper and Lower Mesa Falls. The cabin was immaculate and fully stocked. Skee ball provided some fun memories for our family every night after dinner. Mule deer greeted us every morning and evening as well as a jackrabbit. One evening while sitting on the deck, we could hear a bugling bull elk in the distance. We will definitely return.
Overall the house is lovely. I was quite disappointed to discover someone seems to live in the bottom unit (not pictured or mentioned in listing). Views are wonderful, location is great. Bed in primary bedroom is very firm. The blinds are a nice touch however blackout curtains would improve sleeping ability beyond 5/5:30am when the sun starts to rise in the summer months. Although it is a beautiful home, I would not have booked this location had I known about the second unit below.

We enjoy renting our cabin to guests, and we go out of our way to help them have a wonderful stay. Our listing is accurate, and our guests love the cabin. When a guest books, we provide an abundance of information about activities in the area. We also include many amenities at the cabin (hiking sticks, bear spray, day packs, umbrellas, binoculars, spotting scope, cooler, games, fire pit, camp chairs, picnic table, to name a few).
The "About this Property" section of our listing clearly states the following:
"PLEASE NOTE: The owner’s sibling lives below in a separate apartment. There are no shared spaces! Your entrance is at a different level, from a different street. You have your own parking, entrance, and & the entire upstairs to yourself."
This disclosure was on our listing when this guest booked. I wish she would have read it and booked elsewhere if that was not what she wanted, because we are fully transparent and want our guests to have a wonderful experience. The cabin’s design with the apartment below is what makes the cabin so wonderful. Because there is a daylight basement with 9-foot ceilings below, the rental space above has amazing, elevated lake and mountain views. There are no shared entry points or spaces, and our guests are able to exclusively enjoy the entire upstairs, the large porch facing the lake, and the brand-new side patio with a firepit that has gorgeous views of both the lake and the mountains behind the cabin. We built a cabin that even this particular guest described as "lovely" and in a "great" location. As she said, guests have "wonderful" lake and mountain views. We are happy to open our cabin to others. We are transparent, and the cabin is accurately described on our listing. We hope you will love it as much as we do! Please message us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to hosting you.
This cabin was a perfect destination for us. We loved the view of Henry Lake and mountain range that surrounded the lake. We visited Yellowstone National Park which was only a short 22mile drive from the cabin. And even took a day trip to the beautiful Grand Tetons National Park We were in awe of how beautiful this cabin was. It was decorated beautifully and well designed. We were very impressed with how well stocked and supplied the cabin was. Our host Jeremy was informative and helpful and very attentive to our stay and made sure we were well taken care of. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the time we spent here. We highly recommend a stay here. We look forward to a return visit and another opportunity to explore this beautiful wonder they call Yellowstone..

About the host
Hosted by Jeremy Ladle
We are thrilled to have finished this beautiful view cabin in late 2023. It was a project that has taken several years to complete, in light of the short construction season from the unique weather in Island Park and the Yellowstone area.
We have visited West Yellowstone and Island Park every year for the last 13 years, and we plan on coming back every year indefinitely. The area is gorgeous, and when the property became available (near a smaller cabin that we stumbled upon down the road), we jumped on it, then tried to find a way to build during the middle of a national pandemic. What an adventure it has been, with some of the wildest winters in history!
One of the factors that weighed heavily in our decision to build in the area is the number of five-star reviews that have been left by guests over the years at our other cabin nearby. People who stay in this convenient location love the experience.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you would like to see copies of the dozens of positive reviews that frequently reference the convenient location and how our guests enjoy working with us.
Why they chose this property
Here are a few things we believe you will love about the cabin: - Close proximity to West Yellowstone, Henry's Lake, and Island Park - easy access to major roads but peaceful place to return after a long day - Breathtaking views in all directions and from each room - A full kitchen, plenty of counter space, and open dining area to enjoy home cooked meals - Large great room for family activities and a place to put your feet up and recline - Windows in all directions to add light - New, well kept and very clean
What makes this property unique
The cabin was built facing Henry's Lake and the surrounding mountains, and it was designed to provide elevated views that do not disappoint. Its functional design is also perfect for several couples traveling together, multi-generational trips, or for a family of six.
As hosts, we like to make sure our guests have plenty of options to consider when it comes to planning their trip. Among other things, we will provide you with the following lists: - Things to Do in the Area - Restaurants - Shopping locations - Directions and additional cabin information - Clear departure instructions.
Our guests love our electronic door lock that gives you access through a unique and secure code that is specific to the dates of your stay.
