Check in and communication was very convenient. The place is very nice and cozy. Kitchenette has everything we needed. Perfect for group. It perfect weather and sky conditions, perfect spot for norther lights! We had also an opportunity to see a little bit of the aurora!
What an awesome place to stay and enjoy rural Iceland! Dmitrii and Ogmundur were very responsive and timely with any questions we had. Wonderful location on the golden circle. Close enough to Selfoss (town), but not too close. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Iceland.
This cabin was easy to find and exactly as described in the listing. Plenty of room for 5 adults (1 couple and 3 singles) to spread out. Good location that is not too far off the beaten path. Nice little store down the way for a few essentials.
The cabin was easy to locate and the pictures were accurate. We had a good time. The hot tub was there but we didn't use it as it was a bit late and kids were tired. The kitchen was fully equipped with a functional dish washer. Would certainly suggest the cabin for others.

The house was great for our group of 3 adults and 4 children. It was conveniently located to what we wanted to see in the area. The grounds around the house were nice for the kids to play. The house was very clean.
We stayed for 2 nights while touring around southern Iceland. These were perfect for our family of 5 (3 adult children). Spacious, with all the necessary amenities, and a lovely hot tub! There was some confusion on my part initially as I had to extend one nights stay to two, and thus had to change cabin reservations, but the host was able to accommodate our change with no problem.
Stayed one night with 8 people and it was great. House has a good layout. We weren’t there long but everything went well. Communication and check in were good. Instructions were clear and easy.
This was a spacious accommodation in a lovely location. We liked that it was conveniently near the Kerid crater and a quick drive to Selfoss. There was also a public swimming pool nearby. The hot tub was a great part of the stay. The hosts were very responsive and were available to resolve any concern or answer any question.
The cottage was very clean with comfortable new furnishings. The kitchen and grill provided all that we needed to prepare healthy meals for our family. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was an amazing bonus after long days of hiking and exploring thr many gems along the Golden Circle. Highly recommend!
The stay was great for a quick stop. We wished the lights on the back porch turned off. It didn’t make for great northern lights viewing. All of the cabins had lights on the porch. They must be controlled by the light outside.

Bedbugs, both my wife and I have terrible bits all over. Minni-Borgir neither cleaned the day I reported it, nor did they offer a discount.

We are very sorry to hear that you experienced discomfort during your stay. As soon as this was reported, our team carried out a full professional inspection and a deep cleaning procedure. No evidence of bedbugs was found at any stage, but as a precaution, all linens and duvets were washed at high temperature, mattresses treated, and decorative pillows replaced.
We take all guest concerns very seriously and maintain strict hygiene standards across all our units. We understand how unpleasant insect bites can be, especially as biting midges are common outdoors in Icelandic nature during the summer months.
We remain committed to ensuring a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all our guests.
