Icelandic paradise with a few caveats

Overall we all very much enjoyed our stay at the lakeside villa. The home was clean, comfortable (although warm) and very well-equipped with amenities. Perhaps it is because we are Americans, but we really struggled with the locks at this home until we figured out the trick. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit but the washer had to be unplugged and replugged in up to 5 times before it would work. It also takes 2 hours for an average size load. However, those were absolutely minor annoyances compared to the amazing views, infinity hot tub and well appointed rooms. Thank you for letting this group of 4 couples stay in your fantastic home. It was the perfect home base for the golden circle and south coast and an easy drive to Keflavik airport when we had to grudgingly head home. Because of the geothermal heating the house was rather room, so keep that in mind when you are packing.

Serenity + Convenience = Perfection

Beautiful, extremely well-appointed home is conveniently situated only 10 minutes from Selfoss. This wonderful home has everything you’ll need, is located in an amazing lakeside setting, and will serve as a launch point for all of your South coast adventures. Can’t wait to return!
