Delightful place to relax and enjoy the beach

relaxing time with family

what a wonderful location! Views of the ocean, house had quick access to the beach and everything needed for a relaxing a refreshing long weekend and close enough to walk to town for a little exercise. Will definitely book again.

Ideal beachfront home with everything you need and then some

This is one of the best homes we have stayed in while in Manzanita. Its location is unbeatable as we watched the waves crash in. It was pristine and well equipped with everything necessary.

Great location with easy beach access

The house was perfectly clean and well stocked, on a quiet dead-end street. The beach access is perfect - far enough away from "downtown" so it's not quite as crowded, but still close enough to walk down the beach and get a coffee. The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy lunch or dinner, with a beautiful view.

Spring Break weekend

My husband and I took our daughter and her family-husband and three daughters for a weekend. The house was right on the ocean with beautiful views. The kitchen had everything you would need for staying in and cooking. The outdoor space was great! The location is the selling point here and it did not disappoint.

Winter time at the beach

The house was perfect for our family of 4 plus one guest over the holiday week. The house is well stocked in the kitchen, lots of games and extra blankets. The beach in December is an adventure with frothy waves and winds. We were happy to have flashlights provided for the short power outage we experienced Communication was top notch with the management team during the outage

Ocean Paradise

Another adult couple and my husband and I stayed at this wonderful beach front home. None of the bedrooms are ensuite, which we've gotten used to, but it did not spoil or reduce the enjoyment of our stay. The home is well-equipped and situated wonderfully on the beach with an easy walk to the ocean. We had a marvelous time.

Everything we could ask for

Our annual family reunion trip to the Oregon Coast has a new place to call home! As our families grow, we need more space and this property has everything we could have asked for…and more! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was completely outfitted for all our meals and the huge table easily accommodated our large family group. The beach was steps away and the deck was a perfect place to gather and relax. We loved being just a 10 min walk from downtown, yet still able to stay on such a quiet and peaceful piece of property. Perfect for kids and our beloved dogs. We will be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The value in this rental is the location. During our stay there were two broken windows that could only close manually, one in a bedroom that forced us into one of the other rooms. Curtains were dusty, carpet is old. The kitchen was nice and so was the fireplace and large windows facing west. For $700 per night we would expect this house to be in better condition.

Wonderful location, most comfy living room area for a group!

Contrary to some other recent reviewers, we found the property in excellent repair with everything working except the fireplace damper, which I am sure was fixed immediately. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are lots of blankets, pillows and towels, including helpful things like old beach towels for dog paws. A HUGE living room with full cathedral height views towards the ocean has the largest and very comfortable sectional we've ever seen except in the movies, plus other easy chairs and was a great place for family talks and reminiscences. Two full baths these days feels a bit shy for a house that sleeps 10, but we had only 7 so were fine sharing, however we thought a connecting door from the main (upstairs King size) bedroom to the bath would be a lovely small reno. The sandy walk to the beach was short and easy to access, the sheltered deck was lovely and we were so happy to be there. We'll be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house could not be better situated: quiet, but close enough to town and nested in the lovely dunes. At this price point you expect that everything works seamlessly, but this wasn't not the case: the sliding door leading to the deck did not work correctly and the windows in the king bed room on the second floor wouldn't open due to "parts on order". That's just not acceptable. Other parts of the house feel a bit run down (first floor bath especially) but that's manageable. While we were disappoint that the agency couldn't accommodate a request for a one-hour delay on departure, they were kind enough to reach out promptly when one of our guests left their wallet in the bedroom.

Thank you for your feedback! The window in the king bedroom has now been repaired. Because we’re in a small coastal town, it can sometimes take a little extra time to get specialty parts or repairs completed, but we appreciate your patience and understanding. The ocean-side slider can occasionally be tricky when sand builds up, but we do our best to keep it cleared regularly. We’re sorry it was difficult during your stay—had we known, we would’ve been happy to stop by and take care of it right away. The sliding door was replaced in June of this year. The downstairs bathroom also received some nice updates this year, and we hope you’ll notice the improvements next time you visit. During peak season, back-to-back cleanings can make late checkouts tough to accommodate, but we always try our best when the schedule allows. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back soon!

Clear instructions and great communication from the hosts. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary items. Even though I brought my own spices, it was nice to see a few basics available for use. As with all rentals, the knives could use a sharpening! The bathrooms were clean, lots of towels. We stayed for spring break with 6 total guests. The only thing I would want future guests to know would be that technically, the house does sleep 10, but that 6 of those are in one small room with bunk beds that would not accommodate adults very well. Young kids? Perfect. Adults, not so much. Other than that, it is a great rental in Manzanita!
