This place was perfect. It’s a little small when you folded out the couch bed. But it is simple and met our needs. The coffee was actually really good. The best part is that it was so walkable to the theaters and all the downtown shopping.

Trip to Ashland

Our stay was very nice. The house is within walking distance to downtown Ashland, which was so convenient. Ashland is a very nice town with many places to eat and fun boutique shops.

I liked everything about the place. Good use of a small space. I did recommend to the owner that the carpet and exterior need some attention and owner was very responsive. Inside decor is bright and cheery.

Nicely appointed, comfortable, efficient unit. So great to have a sofa for reading and lounging between plays and dining. In a quiet neighborhood, yet close (beautiful walk along stream) to downtown and Lithia Park.

The location was wonderful. Check in was easy. Our stay would have been a 5 star except for 2 things, the heater was very loud and the smell of pet odors and cleaning supplies was very strong. Comfortable & cozy

It’s a cute place 2 blocks to the main drag of Ashland & once in town on the other side is a perfect bakery for a treat, for after ur morning walk. Once home again. Coffee, creamer & sugars are ready for ur perfect cup of Java. The king bed was very comfortable (firm but not to firm). We opened the door to air conditioning ( great since it was 102 that day) From opening the door to when we left, information was listed on the table. The owner was very open to any questions prior to our booking & helped with issues we had in signing up. It had everything these two people needed. Parking was a little tight but I found the parking area open & we just turned our car around & backed into our space each time we got home! At night there is a car parked there but we had no issues. Lovely nook so close to town for these two Guests.

Worst stay we’ve had

The listing said landscape person came weekly, never showed up the week we were there. It rained most of our stay and leaves were everywhere and the was no way to keep from tracking them into the unit. No broom or vacuum to clean them up, so had to use a towel to sweep leaves outside. First night remote died after a couple hours, no tv until the next morning around 10am. Hot water went out twice during our stay. Garbage from previous guest was left under the sink. Workers were in the attic several times making it hard for my Wife to rest. Although the listing states haven for pets, there is no yard anywhere to take you dog out to. Now they are trying charge us $75.00 for our service dog. ( My Wife is terminally ill, hence the reason we are in the area, medical treatment. ) They also sent an invoice for professional carpet cleaning. As I stated earlier, the sidewalks were wet and covered with small leaves, so it was impossible to keep from tracking in debris and the carpet was filthy when we arrived with no was to clean it up. Wouldn’t stay with them again and don’t recommend to anyone else.

Everything was as advertised: clean, safe, walking distance to everything we wanted to do (dining, bars, theatre). The bed was very comfortable, there is a small kitchen with the essentials. Hosts were very kind to provide coffee, plenty of towels, toiletries… we ended up not bringing our pet, but he would have loved it there. We will certainly come back!
