Our 'Floating Holiday' offers you all the comforts of home, with a view of paradise. All the things you love about Norris Lake just outside your door!

Start your day on the front porch watching the sun work its way through the morning fog. End your day watching the stars dance above the hills. What happens in between is entirely up to you! You can go boating, swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, skiing, or just sit on the porch and relax. FH1 has 2 Jet Ski ports.

Chill out in one of our Four Queen-Size Private Bedrooms. Two Bathrooms means NO WAITING. Prepare gourmet meals in the Fully Equipped Kitchen or grill burgers on the Gas Grill.

Enjoy your 'Floating Holiday' entertainment choices, TV, DVD, and Music systems are provided. So bring your CD's MP3 players and favorite movies to enjoy.

It’s great being able to tie up your boat to your house and forget about it for the night. Boat is required to access house. There is no walkway to the house from land.

Best Norris Stay Ever

Nothing else to say - our families favorite Norris stay ever! On our 3rd day we booked the same week for the next year! It was that great ! You’ll never stay on land again

The house had a beautiful view, very comfortable outside and inside living areas and a very well stocked kitchen! Loved the kayaks! Really wonderful to feel completely away from it all. Secluded and gorgeous coves to float and relax all around. It was really a great vacation!

Gorgeous view of the lake.

Everything was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for anything better! Location was fantastic and so close to other marinas. 4 bedrooms with two bathrooms was more than adequate for our group of 8 people. Will be back again for sure. Mary and her husband was a true blessing and made everything so easy and special for our vacation from Ohio.

You will not be disappointed. This house is immaculate, and the unobstructed view of the lake is fabulous. The house is better stocked than any house I have ever stayed at. What really made the trip was the Host, Mary always available if we needed anything. Thank you Mary.

Amazing property and Host

Mary provided my friends and I with the best experience renting her property. Her home is absolutely beautiful and is in the best location on the lake. The home was spotless when we got there and we had everything we needed. She really goes the extra mile for her guests. We had an amazing vacation and plenty of room for all our guest. We will definitely be staying with Mary next year.

Great vacation the home was great and view was better. Our kids were always busy! Great time!

The home was clean and neat. The beds and furniture were very nice. The kids loved playing on the slide and dive board. They really loved the kayaks and paddle boat. We have kids ranging from 16-6 and they all had a ball. We will come back for sure. The owner (Mary) is very generous and accommodating. We hope to come back year after year!

My favorite little piece of paradise

This property is amazing! The morning views, the afternoons floating around the house, the evenings boat watching were just a few of my favorite things. This house offers so many opportunities. If its fishing you want you got it. If its relaxation you want you got it. If its just a CLEAN place to crash while you play all day on the beautiful waters of Norris Lake, you got it. This house has it all. If you think you NEED to pack it dont! Mary has thought of it all! It's a top notch top quality home. A floating home in the center of the action on Norris Lake, I cant think of anything better. I will admit I had a bit of anxiety wandering where we would park, park our trailer. How we would get our stuff to the floating home. Mary will call you the week before your stay and give you amazing direction on what to do and whats best for you and your boat needs. Ask all the questions you want.. She has such a love for the lake and her homes and she really enjoys sharing them with her guests. I could go on and on! This vacation is just what my husband and I needed. We've been to Destin Fl, Cancun Mx, Dominican Republic and LaFollete Tennessee (NORRIS LAKE) just might be my favorite little place of paradise!

Beautiful!!

We had the pleasure to not only stay at this beautiful house but meeting the owner! Mary keeps a beautiful, clean home! Everything is well stocked from dish towels to toys outside for adults and kids if you have little ones. Diving board, kayak, slide and floats. It was so clean. That’s a huge deal for our whole family. The best part I would have to say is she came and visited and it made it so much more personal and that I loved. I think I can speak for all 7 of us that stayed in the house that this was a trip we will remember always and I’m super grateful to Mary for sharing her home with us!!

Wonderful rental and an even more wonderful host

We had a total of 6 adults stay at this house, there was more than enough room. Everything was extremely clean and updated throughout the house, It was gorgeous. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge plus. Views from the front porch were beautiful. But what really made this rental worth it was how wonderful, gracious, and helpful the host was. Mary checked in with us many times to see if we needed anything, even offered to grab us groceries when she ran into town one day. We will definitely be back!

Our Happy Place

With kids ages 18, 16 and 5- it's hard to find something we all enjoy- but this is it! There aren't any distractions- just time to relax, boat and enjoy the company! Mary is easy to communicate with, quick to respond and very friendly! The house is updated, clean and very well equipped.. Highly recommend!

You could not ask for a better property or hosts. The house was newly renovated with everything you need for a great stay. The house was roomy, clean, and wonderful. The outdoor deck was large with plenty of seating. The view was perfect for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We will stay at this location again!

Best view on the lake!

FH1 with its front spot gives you an amazing unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. House was completely renovated/updated and perfect! Kitchen was fully stocked for all of our needs. Two refrigerators made it nice as well! Definitely will be back and recommend to friends/family!

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time!! Mary was amazing. I would highly recommend going in the fall we had the whole lake almost to ourselves. Not much was open but it was perfect for what we were needing and wanting!! Can’t wait for next fall to book again!!

From the moment we walked in the front door, we loved this property. It was super clean and just darling. And the view is like heaven. We love to travel, especially to the water. So Norris Lake is a very special place for us. We have made many memories here over the years, and plan to make many more. We hope you enjoy our homes and make many memories with your family and friends that will last a lifetime.

We have enjoyed nesting in our vacation homes. Bob keeps busy making some nice improvements and we are always adding our own little touches to the houses.

We have really enjoyed meeting our guests and making new friends. Many of our guests have spent more time in the house than we have!

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Norris Lake for many years. My father introduced us to this lake in 2001. It has been in our hearts and vacation plans ever since.

The natural beauty, crystal clear water, and the friendly people we meet here keep us coming back, year after year. There is no where else we would rather invest our money and our time.

What makes this property unique

The people at Springs Dock are some of the friendliest people we've met. The other homeowners are great to get to know and are very welcoming.

The marina and their staff have all the amenities we need, and some of the best prices we have found on the lake.

The view from our 'Floating Holiday' just can't be beat. Sitting on the porch, we look at untouched forestland and miles of crystal-clear water stretching out in both directions.

Time doesn't seem to exist on the lake. Your day is what you make of it. Leave your troubles and stress behind. A Floating Holiday is truly a break from the world.
