The Space:
Parking is really simple at this duplex! You can park on the street in front or on the side of the building. It's situated on a large, open corner lot with plenty of street parking and little competition for parking. You'll enter the home by going up 3 steps to the front door. Once you enter your code to the smart lock and enter the living room. You'll be greeted by oversized sofas with throw pillows, coffee table and end tables, and a small desk for working-- although, we know you'd rather be out enjoying the historic Garland district! To the left of the desk, you'll find two bedrooms and one bathroom. Soft linens, fuzzy towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all provided for your use. There is a full-length mirror just outside the bathroom, so you can be sure that you look your best.

On the other side of the living room, right of the desk, you'll reach the dining room and then the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies, basic spices and oil, an oven/range combo, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full refrigerator and dishwasher. The laundry set is in the closet to the left of the refrigerator, and we provide detergent for your use as well.

Unfortunately, due to allergies, we don't allow pets here.
Also, due to allergies, no smoking in the home or on the premises.

We do have exterior camera that records video and audio upon detection of motion. Cameras are on the exterior of the duplex and face the street. No cameras record into any guest-only areas.
We do also have a Minut noise monitor in hallway between the living room and bathroom. This is used to prevent parties. It does not record audio nor video. It only measures sound decibels and notifies us if a certain decibel-level for a measure of time.

Please contact the host if you have questions about the home prior to booking! We're local and happy to help however we can!

Guest Access:

The Neighborhood:
Spokane's Garland District is a neighborhood with a rich history that's worth exploring. Located in the north-central part of the city, this area has been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike since the 1920s.

The district is named after the Garland Theater, which opened its doors in 1945 and remains one of the most iconic landmarks in the area. The theater, with its distinctive art deco facade, has been lovingly restored and continues to screen films, host live performances, and serve as a gathering place for the community.

In addition to the theater, the Garland District is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. Visitors can stroll along the tree-lined streets, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant neighborhood. There are plenty of opportunities to shop for unique gifts, grab a cup of coffee, or enjoy a meal at one of the many eateries in the area.

The Garland District is also known for its community events, which draw people from all over the region. These events include the annual Garland Street Fair, which features live music, food vendors, and craft booths, as well as the Christmas Tree Lighting, which brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season.

Whether you're a history buff, a film lover, or just looking for a fun place to explore, Spokane's Garland District is definitely worth a visit. With its rich history, unique shops and restaurants, and vibrant community, this neighborhood has something for everyone.

Getting Around:

Other Things to Note:
While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen. We want to offer our guests the best and most price-effective option for those incidents that we hope do not occur. We found that damage deposits can be costly, frustrating and we don't want to hold any of your hard-earned money 'just in case'.
For Airbnb reservations: We do not charge a damage deposit on site because Airbnb offers AirCover.
For non-Airbnb reservations: We charge a nightly fee for damage insurance in lieu of charging a damage deposit. This fee is nonrefundable and should be added to your reservation at checkout. If it is not, we will contact you to process payment for this charge. This fee pays for protection through a third-party company and covers property damage that may occur during your stay.

After booking confirmation, you have the option to purchase third-party travel insurance for up to 14 days prior to your stay. Please reach out via message if you're interested in travel insurance.

Airbnb does their own guest screening.
For non-Airbnb reservations, we use a quick and simple third party guest screening service. Please watch for this email and complete the appropriate steps. Message/call us if you encounter any problems or have questions about this service.

Interaction with Guests:
Property manager is local and available for guest needs. If you need something during your stay, we can typically deliver it within 24 hours.
