I drove from Bremerton to Spokane for a family wedding. I drove immediately after work. no rest. I sent several requests for an early check in to iron clothes and take a short nap I received zero responses. once I arrived and was about to leave for the wedding. I sent a request on how to lock the door from the exterior as the lock system was keyless entry. a code opened the deadbolt. when leaving. no instructions on how to lock the door. o asked the question and again 0 response. the place was nice. it's ok I couldn't check in early. what's not ok was the lack of communication. I left the same day. forfeiting my 2 nights because the place was not safe with an unlocked door. I finally got a response that was hours late and to no use as I was already near Bremerton around mid night. 9 want to ask for my money back, but again. no response. VRBO where r u?

Nice and close to what we needed and was quiet.

Not recently remodeled , but funtional none the less . Spaces could use a mini split hvac system with a couple small heads for comfort . Its location was close to where we needed to go , and it was quiet .

A little disappointing

This place had really good reviews and for the most part it was great. I didn’t realize there wasn’t a washer or dryer. That’s my fault. I didn’t read the listing thoroughly, but it just wasn’t clean. There was hair on the side of the shower and in the drain like you could tell it was obviously not cleaned, and it just made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the place, it was hard to get out of the parking as it was at the end of a dead end kind of weird spot but other than that it was fine. It was really affordable for what I needed.

I arrived about 11:00 p.m. after a late flight. I found a pile of used bedding by the back door upon entry. The place was very cold. In the bathroom soiled towels were piled in the bathtub. The bed had been stripped. The place was dated and grungy looking, nothing like the photos online. I left immediately and went to the Davenport. Did the owner reimburse me? Yes but, only 50%. I was robbed.

Clean, lots of windows, reserved parking

This apartment is in an older building so you will notice that the hardwood floors are creaky and slightly unlevel in places, but to me that in no way diminishes its charm. Giant windows bathe the kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom with natural light. Keep in mind neighboring homes are only a few yards/meters away from those windows, so make use of the shades when you need privacy. The dwelling was clean and well-appointed with even a soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower! I couldn’t see a way to plug the drain in the tub, so be aware of that if you like to soak or were planning to bathe small children. I didn’t do a ton of cooking, but everything I looked for in the kitchen I found (even coffee!) with the exception of a pitcher, which wasn’t a necessity. I appreciated having reserved parking (covered even!) just steps from the entrance, which made unloading and reloading my vehicle a breeze. I noticed a few large carpenter ants outdoors on the concrete porch, but did not spot a single ant, spider or insect of any kind in the dwelling during the 3 days of my stay. I wish I knew the hosts’ secret as I spotted 2 ants and a spider in my own home just yesterday. :-) Prospective guests may want to note that the king bed is comprised of two adjacent twin mattresses, leaving a crack in the center under the king-size sheets, which may or may not be an annoyance to you. The sheets were soft, as was the mattress—at least on the side I slept on. I was very happy with my stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I travel back to Spokane.

Just a couple little things comparing with other VRBO's..... only 1 end table livingroom which my husband used. I had to set my drinks on floor & make sure not to spill. I suggest a coffee tablecin frontvof one of the couchs. Bedroom had no chest of drawers to store clothes, so we stacked them on closet shelf. Luggage rack in bedroom would have been nice too. I would definately stay again & recommend to friends. Very convenient to downtown.

Enjoyable location

The apartment was as described and in the perfect location for our trip. Just a few blocks from Manito Park and close to a lot of restaurants. I highly recommend!

Disappointing

It worked because we weren’t spending all day sitting in the apartment but overall it was a little dirty. The shower was dirty, there were unfinished wall patches and the sponge that was provided to wash dishes was visibly dirty. The location is easy and convenient it just needs a little bit of tlc.

Great location

We arrived 3 hours after our check in to find that the unit had not been cleaned. After contacting the property mang. he explained that we arrived after a brutal freeze in the area. As a result of that, the building was going through problems with some broken water pipes/mess. With the chaos of that, our unit had somehow gotten missed. The housekeeping staff immediately, got to it - and did a great job. During our stay, they also made sure to keep our (4) steps up to the unit de-iced. The unit is in a split up old house, so of course there is a little noise (but that was expected), and it's creaky (old). The location was perfect! A few good restaurants within walking distance, and the red line bus stop just around the corner. Would stay again!

Short stay

Nice clean, quiet place to stay while in spokane for our childs surgery. Perfect location as its super close to the hospital. Property managers were excellent, as a glitch happened with out original booking. We got a late check-in (about an hour) due to apartment not quite being ready; cleaning service still there. But we took the opportunity to take a nice walk around the neighborhood. Definitely would stay again.

Double booked, never stayed

Drove 300 miles and got turned away because someone was already in it. Owner blamed VBRO, VBRO blamed owner. Regardless, I was left helpless. Turned around and drove home in middle of night. Will never use VRBO again.

Comfortable & Convenient

Traveled in to the big city from Coeur d' Alene, ID, to catch a show at Northern Quest Casino. Pete's place was perfect for our one night stay. A quick uber ride to a tasty dinner and then the show. The king size bed was super comfy and the check in and out times allowed us not to feel rushed. Would definitely recommend this spot if you need a place to crash in Spokane.

Great little apartment

The place was comfortable and quiet. Though it's supposed to be smoke free, the couches were permeated in the stale nicotine smell so someone broke the rules. Other than that, place was great.

Peter Purchased this property in 2002 and lived in one of the apartments and rented out the others, slowly restoring all the property.

In 2013 Peter married Sarah and the next year they had their first baby, Piper and quickly were outgrowing their place. With baby #2, Riley, they have moved out of their place and are now happy to have it as a place for guests to stay. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we did!

This is a great neighborhood to be in and a very comfortable apartment. You will be in walking distance of great food and amenities, as well as wonderful historic neighborhoods and parks.
