Enter the gated courtyard and look up to your historic 1883 all brick dwelling with over 2088 sqft House all to yourself! Vaulted ceilings, Spacious kitchen, laundry room, Music room with turntable, Smart TVs, portable Bluetooth Jukebox, walkout deck and patio. Experience history with the modern updates in your stay at Route 66 Hotel House.
Many rooms to enjoy, live large like they did in 1883, but enjoy the updates of modern life with High-efficiency heating and cooling. Themed Record room with walkout deck, outdoor seating, new grill, plenty of reading material when your tired of the high speed internet. Plenty of areas to relax and lounge after exploring St.Louis. Bluetooth jukebox your family/ group can enjoy! Feel free to place it in any room you like. It is light to carry! Most of all enjoy experience of history, room & comfort the hotel (house ) has to offer!

Summer months have free concerts in many of the parks within walking distance of Route 66 hotel ( house). Master bedroom has Lamps with USB ports as well as in Daybed room. Trash please put in proper trash Bins in backyard lawn maintenance will take care of the rest. For more than weekend stays please put trash ally bins

The location was excellent . Very beautiful neighborhood with brick houses and tree lined streets. Right in the middle of everything. The house was clean and cozy. Nice patio and back yard. It felt great being there.

Great Spot

This property has so much character and history. This is our second visit with Eric and Desiree. Eric remembered us and left a nice note! I was pleasantly surprised by that gesture! The upgrades were noticable and the home always feels warm and inviting. It feels like home away from home as soon as you enter. The home is well stocked. There isn't much you need to bring except maybe the food you will be cooking. This is the second time we have come to town and needed to cook for a pot luck style gathering at a cousins house. The house had everything we needed to cook for 7 dishes, except for aluminum pans. The house does have enough Pyrex dishes, if we forgot our aluminum pans. So Eric still had us covered, lol. I enjoy staying at the Route 66 house. We will definitely stay again.

Welcome Home!

My family loved this place. The way it was decorated was very purposeful and cool! Immediately, when you walk in the house you feel welcomed. It is inviting and feels like home away from home. Eric had everything covered that you might need to be comfortable, even a few St. Louis complimentary snack items! That was a nice touch and surprise. There were so many personal touches that made this spot super cool. The music room with a variety of vinyls across musical genres was awesome to just vibe out and chill. The house has enough space that you don't feel on top of each other but there are spaces to gather and feel close. I should add that 3 of the people staying with me were 72, 74, and 80 years old. My youngest son is 24 years all. Everyone loved the space and found something they loved about this house from restaurant suggestions, books, games, records, the beautiful decor, and vintage themed areas. This is a great spot to stay. We hope to stay again.

My wife and I Love the history of St. Louis! The Architecture as well many beautiful parks it has to offer. We also live close in a neighboring historical district from the hotel house. We love to share many books, antiques, Records, and novelty items we have collected over the years for guests to be seen and enjoy as well.

Why they chose this property

As a long time home remodeler in the area I have always loved the location! The abundance of on street parking! The surrounding brick structure’s, you can walk the neighborhood and feel the history.
