About the host
Hosted by Katie Lewis
I’m a St. Louis native & currently live in Webster Groves (STL suburb) with my husband & cohost Tyler. We are a blended family with 3 boys (22, 16, and 14) and a cat Ellie. Entertaining friends and family has always been a favorite pastime, so moving into property hosting was an exciting step to take after a career change! We own all of our properties and manage them ourselves. Although new to Vrbo, Tyler and I have been hosting guests at our Soulard properties since July 2023.
We love exploring all the city has to offer and meeting new people. Reach out for questions or to chat about recommendations. Cheers!

Why they chose this property
Tyler and I love St. Louis city and spend as much time here as we can. Soulard is hands-down our favorite city neighborhood. The oldest residential neighborhood in St. Louis, Soulard exudes charm and personality perhaps more than any other neighborhood. Here you will find red brick row houses and cobblestone tree-lined sidewalks where the carriage steps from the 1800's are still standing. Presently, Soulard is the epicenter of the famed St. Louis blues music scene and home to the biggest Mardi Gras celebration in 49 states. Dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries dot every block. Live music with talented musicians is plentiful and cover charges are rare (we really are spoiled here). Soulard also has some of the best patios in the city! The ambiance is casual, friendly, and booze forward. Think French Quarter, but cleaner, less expensive, and less crowded :)
Tyler and I wanted to share our love of the city with others, and we could not find a better neighborhood than Soulard, or a more perfect home than the PS House.

What makes this property unique
The PS House is unique in how multi-dimensionally inspiring it is. The unique history is fascinating by itself (the original owner was a prominent and influential St. Louisan). Then you add the character of this opulent mansion that was built in 1866 in a way that is unrivaled by today's standards, and you pepper in modern luxuries at every turn. On top of that, you set it on a gorgeous tree-lined street among stunning brick homes, and if that weren't enough, you dot it with no less than 35 options for dining and entertainment all within a 10 min. walk, many of which are a stone's throw away. My husband and I bought this house in June 2023 and stay here as often as we can because every day feels like a vacation at the PS House.
