One of Folly’s Best! Come relax to the sound of the ocean waves on the quieter West end of Folly Beach. Mystic Tide is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home that can comfortably sleep 10 guests. This classic and cozy Folly home has direct beach access. Take in the views from the porches, sunroom, or dinette alcove with a 180-degree view of the beach. Just a short ride takes you to local restaurants and beach shops. This property is just three blocks from the Folly Beach County Park that has lifeguards in the summer months.

The open layout and fully stocked kitchen make entertaining for friends and family a breeze. Two dining tables allow everyone to share a home-cooked meal together. The four bedrooms are comprised of a king, three queens, and three double beds. Two of the bedrooms provide TVs to catch up on your favorite show. There are two Jack and Jill bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Under the home, there is a private room with an additional queen bed, a washer and dryer, and a bathroom. There is a propane grill and additional outdoor seating under the home.

Mystic Tide allows up to 2 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dogs when you inquire. This home provides 4 parking spots. All photos are recent and accurately depict the property. This property is licensed by city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number: LIC002987. We had a great time. The location was perfect. It’s on the beach. The beach is wide and not crowded. The house is very comfortable. The rental staff were very responsive to any needs we had. It was a great stay. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Mystic Tide

Great views and access to the beach. Plenty of rooms for the family to be able to be comfortable and have their privacy. Love eating at the dining table overlooking the ocean. My mother and I enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the ocean waves. Great place to stay. I would book it again.

Great location!

Excellent location and beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Plenty of necessities were provided such as towels, kitchen cleaning items, bathroom necessities, etc. The house needs some TLC, but it didn’t distract from our visit.

Fantastic beach access!

We really enjoyed our time at this beach house--it's spacious, well equipped & comfortable but not perfect--making it easy to relax! I think our favorite part was having the beach just steps away & not having to "pack up" to go play! The only negative thing to consider is that the internet connection was terrible, so online activities might be limited. Overall we had a super experience & would highly recommend staying here!

Family Getaway VERY dog friendly

House was just as described. Location was perfect on the beach. Great for our dog and we saw many other dogs on the beach. There was trouble during check in that was a minor inconvenience with accessing the downstairs. However, Melissa came out and took care of it and dropped off a gift the next day for the inconvenience that was much appreciated. We highly recommend staying here especially with your dog.

Thanksgiving on the beach

We had a great time. We absolutely loved the location. Right on the beach. We watched the sunrise over the ocean from our beds. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. I knew from the pictures the house was older and needs updating but I wanted to be right on the beach and we needed a large house to accommodate our family. All of us were pleasantly surprised that the house is actually nicer than the pictures. We would stay again.

Everything was great cleanliness was good,right at the beach plenty of space and lots of sitting areas outside to relax, but will say there are few place that need little TLC. Back door to sitting area balcony the weather strip was not attached to floor and would leave gap for lizards in and cold air out. Back beck that leads out to beach few planks were.ceey loose and need to be replaced along with some shrubs need to be trimmed back from beach path to make easier to walk but over all was great!

Stay-cation/get-away

This home provided ample space to stretch out and enjoy. We had a small crowd but there are many places to gather. The house could use a little TLC but is well furnished and nicely decorated. Sadly, they were doing beach “refurbishing” directly in front our house which eliminated the beach access from the house! This was frustrating since we chose this home specifically for that reason. Wish this had been foreclosed to us prior to our arrival even if it was unavoidable. The construction continued 24/7 until Sunday. On a positive note, the weather was amazing! Enjoyed our stay abd time together!

This listing is a TOTAL CATFISH! This house is in shambles! Let’s start with the kitchen-the stove top doesn’t function properly….you turn a burner on and it turns off while you’re cooking! The oven will not heat correctly, nor maintain heat-we burned several meals. The microwave is large and only fits in one spot on the counter-the only outlet it reaches continually trips while you’re attempting to heat something. The drawer directly to the left of the oven hits the oven every time you attempt to pull it out. Cooking in this space was impossible, the only way we could eat was by using the grill. Next, let’s review the bathrooms. Each bathroom came with two tiny towels and there were absolutely NO EXTRAS for the beach. When we tried to turn on the showers, the handles literally fell out of the wall and into my hands. Don’t expect hot water for your showers when staying here-you won’t get any! The floors before both back doors are literally crumbling, they’re uneven, and definitely warped from water damage. You need shoes at all times when walking around the porches, the wood is so damaged you’ll get splinters! The only nice thing I can say about this place is it’s directly on the beach. It’s a roof over your head and nothing more. We choose to leave our stay a night early because we were over it.

This was a great place to stay, with an amazing view! The layout of the house was fantastic for a family. The beach was steps away, and we really loved the set up. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and have fun. It's a little less modern and has some wear/tear of a rental, but we loved it and thought it was a great value. Would definitely stay again!

The home is super clean with lots of parking! I would stay again, but the house itself needs lots of cosmetic work. Cracks in walls and ceiling can even see where it has been water damaged. Nothing a good painter couldn’t fix. Can’t really see this in the pictures. The only real issue is the wooden walk to the beach has lots of nail heads sticking up and the wood is really rough. You definitely don’t go barefoot out there.

This house was perfect for our girls' trip to Folly, and we truly enjoyed our time! The layout is ideal, with four bedrooms upstairs, and the ocean views from nearly every angle in the house were breathtaking. We loved the downstairs seating area with the fireplace, which was our favorite place to relax. The property management team was very responsive and even visited us to make sure we had everything we needed, leaving a small gift as a thoughtful gesture. Our only regret is that our stay wasn't longer. Thank you very much!
