Brian, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m really glad the farm gave you that peaceful, slow‑down kind of stay — it’s exactly what this little patch of land is meant for. I’m happy I could help make everything smooth and stress‑free for you. You’re welcome back anytime to enjoy the quiet, the trees, and a breather from the city.
April’s cabin was the perfect place for my friends and I to end our travels in Washington. It’s conveniently located 30 mins from SeaTac airport but feels remote and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and was so cutely decorated. We loved seeing the farm animals and driving down to the lake. Would recommend!

Everything you need! There is a desk which was very useful as both of us used our laptops to get some things done at the end of the day. A washer and dryer are availablealso and the kitchen area is well equipped.A very comfortable stay!

We stayed here while in town for a dog agility event, and the location was perfect—only a 15-minute drive to the venue. The property was incredibly clean, comfortable, and truly pet-friendly. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the guest experience; they really thought of everything we could have needed. I highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling with dogs.

Thank you so much, Lisa! We’re thrilled to hear the location worked so well for your event, and it means a lot that you found the space clean, comfortable, and truly pet‑friendly. We put a lot of care into making sure guests (and their pups!) feel welcome and at ease. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to have you back anytime.
Spotlessly clean, farmhouse decor, and in perfect repair! Parking just steps away. Kitchen, while tiny, is very well stocked and all appliances are convenient. We were there for a Portuguese Water Dog competition so I had a lot of wet things to run through the dryer each night. It feels very remote but actually close to a lot of things. My only wish would be for a place to let my dogs run, but that would be a lot to ask for.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m delighted to hear the cabin was a comfortable home base for your trip and that the layout and amenities worked well for all the drying and re‑drying that comes with a Water Dog competition.
It makes me happy that the space felt both peaceful and conveniently located — that balance is exactly what I hope guests experience. I appreciate your note about a place for the dogs to run; I completely understand how helpful it would be and I’ll keep the idea in mind as we continue improving the farm.
You were a fantastic guest and are welcome back anytime. Safe travels and best of luck in future competitions.

Angela, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m really glad you enjoyed the cabin, even with the surprise power outage. Life out here in the woods keeps us on our toes, but I’m always happy to make sure guests are comfortable and taken care of. I appreciate you rolling with the adventure and hope to welcome you back again.
The only negative was having to leave. April responded right away to my texts. I did have problems accessing the VRBO site to figure out payment and it was frustrating but not April’s fault. Beautiful cabin and surroundings. I hope up be back.
Loved this quaint little cabin. It was updated and provided everything I needed. Great host- she even let my granddaughters play with the farm animals. Even though the cabin is right next-door to the main house, I still have all the privacy I needed.

We traveled here for our granddaughter‘s first birthday. The mini farm was very easy to find, even in the dark. Our hostess, April, was very helpful. The cottage was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. It is a very quick drive to Black Diamond, which is exactly what we needed. We were able to see the dogs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and horses. We brought our granddaughter over and she loved all of the animals.
