This ideal vacation get away is suited for those seeking a quality rental that offers a location East of Route 1 and within walking distance to beach, downtown and boardwalk! You will be vacationing in a spacious, comfortable, quiet five bedroom, three and a half bath home with a private in ground pool! The first floor boasts hardwood flooring, a spacious living area with flat screen TV! Wireless internet service included! The yard is fully fenced. Cook inside the fully equipped granite kitchen overlooking the living area! Just perfect for entertaining! There is also a trex deck, screened porch, outside enclosed shower and a gas grill! The first floor master bedroom features a flat screen TV. A walk in closet and a private ceramic tiled full bath. There are four bedrooms upstairs serviced by two nicely sized ceramic tiled bathrooms! Dual zoned central air for added comfort. This freshly decorated beach house makes a perfect family vacation retreat.

As an Airbnb host/cleaner ourselves, we understand that things can occasionally be missed, especially at the end of a busy season. However, there were several issues with this stay that we feel future guests should know about.The house was not properly cleaned when we arrived. We found a potato chip, a white poker-chip-like item, dirty/dingy carpets, and multiple small choking hazards, so we had to vacuum immediately because we had two children under two. There was mold under the bathroom mats and in the coffee maker, a filthy trash can, scum on the refrigerator, hair/dirt in the silverware drawer, a dirty pot, and leftover food from previous guests.The listing advertised cabinet safety locks and a baby travel crib, but neither was available. We had to immediately purchase a crib for our two-year-old. The host did reimburse us and sent another crib that arrived the next day, which we appreciated.There were also maintenance/listing issues, including a ripped porch screen and the listing stating there were two king beds when there was only one.We are not leaving this review looking for compensation just making it aware to the host and future guest at the price point that was listed it could have been better. The host was helpful with the crib situation, and the house itself is beautiful. This is simply honest feedback from both a guest and someone familiar with Airbnb cleaning and hosting, with hopes these issues can be addressed for future guests.

Thank you for your feedback. We were sorry to learn that the travel crib was no longer at the house and, once we knew, we immediately reimbursed you for the crib you purchased and had a replacement delivered the next day. We have also corrected the listing regarding the child-safety items and bed configuration, although I always have listed that 1st floor master as a king and it has never been mentioned by other guests and I personally use that room when I stay at the house and always considered it a king bed. I do want to add some perspective regarding the cleanliness comments. We have rented our home for more than 12 years, and cleanliness has consistently been mentioned positively by our guests. This stay was in mid-September, after 13 consecutive weeks of summer rentals. The house is professionally cleaned every week during a short turnover window, and by the end of a busy season there are some things that require a deeper cleaning rather than a normal weekly turnover. That said, there were items mentioned that should have been caught, and we have addressed those with our cleaning team. We were also aware of the damaged screen and had plans to repair it, the screened in porch has been problematic as guests tend to push on the screens which is why we have the grid on the lower portion of the screening to reinforce it, however the upper part of the door does not have that protection. That will be corrected over the winter. We appreciate guest feedback and always try to respond quickly when something needs attention. We’re glad you found the house beautiful and appreciated our responsiveness during your stay.

Rehoboth Beach House

The house was perfect and would highly recommend. There was plenty of space for two families and the street was beautiful. We enjoyed the beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon, and boardwalk at night.

Perfect vacation home for multi-generational family

This was our third year at this home. House was perfect for our family of ten, 6 adults and 4 children under 5 years old. Easy walk to Boardwalk. Parking pass allowed one car with all beach chairs, toys and coolers to be transported. Pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We will be back next year.

Beach Week

This house was amazing. The property was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed for our group. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was within walking distance of downtown and the beach, which we took full advantage of. Valerie was awesome too. She was SUPER responsive and was able to answer any questions I had. This was my first time using VRBO and would highly recommend her and this property 10/10 would come again.

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately hurricane came and sone days were stuck in doors. Would be nice to be closer to the beach. Definitely need bikes. Grandkids loved the pool. Traffics is crazy so expect delays everywhere. Manager was awesome!

Great place!

Wonderful place to stay for families or friends to stay! Only about a block to silver lake, and not a terribly long walk to Funland or other boardwalk places. Easy access to DE-1 for any travel to Dewey, Lewes, or Ocean City. Overall everyone in my family was pleased where getting a consensus is difficult!

Best House Ever

The house is comfortable, large enough for quiet family gatherings with members staying at other locations. Complete kitchen and all rooms contained side tables, chairs and reading lamps. Tv in every room however we were drawn to the large tv watching Olympics The pool was a refreshing delight after our steamy side trips. Easy walking to beach and boardwalk It was a magical stay

Our Wonderful Stay

This was our first trip to Rehoboth Beach and the house was everything we expected and more! It was an easy walk to the beach, in a beautiful, quiet area, and the pool was a wonderful way to entertain our grandchildren. The house was the perfect size for our family and we were able to prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, which was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We had an amazing time! We will have lasting memories, and hope to return next year!

Great house. Walking distance to beach. Private pool.

House was great space for 6 adults and 3 young children. One car drove to the beach with all our gear and the rest of the family enjoyed the walk to the beach. Afternoon naps for babies, while adults enjoyed the private pool. After nap playtime for children in the pool.

Our Delaware vacation

The house was perfect for our family, especially adjoining bedroom in upstairs master bedroom. This was perfect for my grandchildren. Having the pool was especially nice since the walk to the beach was too far for small children. Overall we loved the house!!! Thank you

We had the best time! Our family of 10, aged 19-95, were in town to see our daughter perform at the Clearspace Theater where she’s working all summer. The house was perfect. From the ease of communicating with Valerie, checking in with an easy keypad system, the layout where my parents could have their own private space on the first floor, the open kitchen, screened-in porch, location that was walking distance to a beautiful beach and boardwalk and the perfectly sized pool that kept us cool on really hot days-we could not have been happier with our choice! Rehoboth vacation 2024

This house was the perfect size for our group. I loved how clean it was. It has plenty of room to not be on top of each other. Clean, Peaceful, Convenient

The house and neighborhood are more beautiful in person, quiet and peaceful. Close to everything. House and pool were clean, wonderful. Pool goes from 3 feet to about 5 feet deep, guessing about 8 feet wide and 14 feet long. It was perfect for us. The house has all you may need. Valerie was attentive and friendly.

Prior to purchase had been renting in Rehoboth for years and expections were never really met. So have created a great vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

Really prefer newer construction over older construction as some of the older homes previously rented were often dark with small rooms or had layouts that were not condusive for today's living. A pool was a must have. Prefer this location in Rehoboth as it is easy to get to, quiet and close to the south end beaches which tend to be less crowed.

What makes this property unique

House is large enough to accomodate extended families with plenty of space. Having the pool especially if the surf is rough or it's just very hot out is absolutely the best of both worlds! Provides options on how to spend the day, especially with small children napping in the afternoon. Adults can relax by the pool or in the screened porch.
