About this property

This condo is located on the 23rd floor and is a premium corner unit . The Ocean Walk complex is quite simply the best Condo-Hotel complex in the area. The amenities are incredible. You can sit on the CORNER balcony and enjoy the amazing ocean views for miles or stroll the traffic free beach to the nearby pier. The pool area is a fantastic resort setting with a waterslide in one of the three outdoor pools and a lazy river to wade in. There is also a childrens pool. There are two heated indoor pools as well as a game room and a health club. This is just a great property with everything within a short walk. Take a chair down to the beach or rent from the convenient vendor who will (for a fee) set you up with an umbrella and chairs for the day. Kids will love this place, beyond all the great amenities on property across the street you have Daytona Lagoon Water park with go cart racing and mini golf as well as an indoor arcade and laser tag. Every weekend in the summer, sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks or stroll into the bandshell ampitheatre for great musical acts performing throughout the summer. Several restaurants next door including Hyde Park Steak House on par with Ruth's Chris or more casual Bubba Gump's, Johnny Rockets, Winghouse as well as a Cold Stone Creamery. Shop at the famous Maui Nix Surf Shop for all beach needs

Ocean Walk Gem

Fantastic condo that had awesome views of the beach and ocean. The pantry was well stocked, and the kitchen had all the needed items. We thought the beds were the most comfortable we had stayed in at a VRBO. Plenty of beach chairs, toys and boogie boards. George was an awesome host that responded to all our questions and needs. We loved watching the dolphins swim by in the morning and enjoyed walking the beach. The perfect place to stay to watch our Senior Collegiate daughter compete and win at the NDA Championships.

Absolutely Perfect-We will be back!

I have been to a lot of VRBO's and I can say this one did not disappoint. George the owner was always quick to respond to any of my questions. Positive The view is just like the pictures AMAZING! The extra big balcony is such a bonus. The place both looked and smelled clean from the moment we walked in. The best surprise was finding all the little extras in the kitchen cupboards and closets. I promise you will not get this if you just rent straight through the resort. LOTS of fresh towels and beach towels. The second bedroom had a nice surprise in that it has a separate toilet and sink in one room and in the other is a sink and full shower. It's almost like having 3 bathrooms. There were plenty of cleaning supplies so that you can keep the place looking nice all week. OH, the best part and another nice surprise is how much privacy you have on your balcony. I was delighted at the amount of privacy we had both ways and being so high up is a bonus. Negative- The check in process is a bit of a pain like you are warned and I even checked in at 9:30pm a NON BUSY time. Make sure you know the unit number and floor and you have your reservation. They have no clue about the Redbook you are told to mention. Another time, I waited 10 minutes standing in front of 4 people at the front desk with no one else in front of me before they acknowledged me while my son just needed a band aide. Forget about getting a chair by the pool unless you stand in line at the crack of dawn.

Feb vaca/Daytona 500

Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. In past we have had to purchase or bring things like soap for washing hands at bathroom sinks, more toilet paper and paper towels, this place had all of the above. It also had beach chairs we could use which was awesome! The only thing negative we could find was the couch was not comfortable to sit on. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach stay

This condo is right on the beach with a magnificent view! We even saw the SpaceX launch right from the balcony! It is well equiped and had plenty of space for our group of 6. It is great to have the hotel experience but with all the comforts of home. We did not have a car during our stay but there is everything within walking distance. Already looking into staying here again.

New Years Stay

This unit has amazing views... direct oceanfront balcony, completely private, plus amazing boardwalk, city and river views due to the corner location. Well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Plenty of towels & beach toys. No fault of the condo owners, Wyndham property management is a trainwreck. They deactivated all 4 keys a day early and didn't even offer an apology. While I was checking out, there was someone else with the same issue. As said, this is no reflection on the unit or owner. Great location!! Short walk to Main Street Pier and plenty of restaurants.

Why they chose this property

I chose to purchase in the Ocean Walk building because it is by far the nicest condo complex located in a mile long traffic free part of Daytona Beach. It's unique because it is located adjacent to shops and restaurants so once we arrive there is not a need for a car. The views from the corner unit 23rd floor are spectacular. You have unobstructed views to the south all the way to Ponce Inlet and the light house in the distance and north to Ormond Beach.
