Spent a new years here with friends & kids (ages 1.5-3). Had a great stay, the house is really neat almost modern lodge-like, property was so cool though it was too cold for us to explore. Included lots of books and music and the projector was very entertaining! The kids enjoyed and the adults loved the kitchen set up to host. The bedrooms were comfy, everything was cozy! We took a drive to Windham which is really close. Great for a snowy get away!

Upon arrival it was clearly visible that the house hadn’t been cleaned. The fridge, Microwave and oven all were dirty inside. One of the kitchen sink drain lines wasn’t connected and water went everywhere on first use. Also the kitchen sink and upstairs bathtub were dirty. There was a dry nasty sponge on the sink. The washing machine had a load of dirty laundry in it. Also the water had been turned off to the washer. One of the rooms bedding was dirty so we ended up washing all the bedding for piece of mind. By the downstairs door jamb a pillow was hiding something that looked like drywall damage or mold. The place hadn’t been vacuumed or swept recently. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work in the living room. I really hate giving a bad review. And I may not have if the situation had been quickly rectified. And after informing the owner and his apology and that the situation would be taken care of I assumed that meant that they would send out a cleaning crew. I was wrong . We’ve stayed in many rentals and all have had a minor issue here and there and I expect that. But this was much more…On the plus side, the house was set up great. Cool retro vibe… kinda tucked away. Lots to keep you occupied. Just couldn’t get past the issues.If the owners rely on the word of the Crew that takes care of the property they really need to get a different team because they’re getting swindled and I feel bad for them

Overpriced under delivered

The house wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. Dirty sheets, unmade bed, food in refrigerator, food scraps in sink, mice droppings in dog bowl, mice in pantry, trash outside from prior tenant. Mold in downstairs room created poor air quality. Bugs in bed. Mice inside ate our food. Inadequate water pressure so that only one bathroom was functional at a time. Sleeps 6 not 10. The loft does not have an actual mattress. Outside lights didn’t work. Some inside light were inadequate. The front door does not close. Over priced for quality of stay.
