This one bedroom with closet, one bath cabin has an electric air mattress for additional guest or children. Scenic views of the river from the living room and deck.
If you need to connect with the world just plug in your laptop and get on line or fire up the WiFi.

This over two acre property is fully fenced in and your dogs will love roaming the trails throughout the property.

The cabin is located on a completely native wooded acreage right on the withlacoochee river! Florida's most scenic river.
There are 2 kayaks and a 3 person canoe ready for you to take out on an adventure down the river.
The cabin is updated and has one bedroom one bath. Tasteful but casual mission style furnishings. Completely furnished for all your needs, linens, gourmet cooking utensils, microwave, stove, refrigerator and all the dishware and glasses you would need. The entire property is completely fenced and there is even a separate fenced in paddock close to the cabin so bring your horses to enjoy the horse friendly trails that start right down the road...

River frontage and great views from the cabin and the two decks. One is right on the river's edge overlooking the river. Sit out by the fire pit for a warm fire and roasting marshmallows on the cooler evenings.

Feels like cabin in the woods

Though the cabin is near other houses, you feel like you are miles away from anyone. Yard is fenced in so it was nice to let my dog off leash. Highly recommend for a get away.

Riverside treehouse

We had an amazing time staying here. Our kids and dogs really loved the property and being so close to the river. It was a cute little cabin with everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The fire pit was great to sit around. We really enjoyed our time here.

perfect getaway

from the moment we went through the gate and saw the driveway ahead we were enchanted. A true hidden treasure awaited. a treehouse cabin well appointed with all we needed. great outdoor spaces and a dock on the river. Rustic and so easy to just decompress and relax. great hiking in the area as well. Rob and Mike were great hosts and responded to all questions quickly. Highly recommend their place!!!!!

We had a great time!

We stayed for three nights with our dogs and LOVED it! The cabin is has everything you need to get away for a few days. The area is very quiet and relaxing but you can still get to a grocery store in under 10 minutes! Will return for sure!!

Amazing property and owners

The communication with the owners was excellent they immediately responded to my questions. They property was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and we used the kayaks daily. So relaxing and caught quite a few fish.

Cute and cozy

The cabin has everything you need and checks all the boxes. The hosts provide just about every comfort you could ask for. The firewood was even sorted by size with a bucket of kindling and a few starters, which was a nice surprise. We plan on returning the next time we need to get away from the city. This place is a gem for sure.

Awesome Getaway

Had a blast with my kids and the dogs. We spent a ton of time by the river and around the fire pit. The dogs loved being able to roam around the property. If you love nature and are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is definitely the place. We’ll 100% be back.

Private Cozy Cabin Retreat

Amazing spot to relax and be totally secluded! My wife and I spent 2 weeks here with our 2 dogs and we will definitely be back! Rob and Mike are amazing hosts and even had us to their ranch for a tour! The cabin is very private and fully fenced in with no one in sight! The river is right behind and beautiful to hangout on! It’s a close drive to all amenities and is very central to all other attractions! We can’t say enough good things about Mike and Rob and the cabin!

Home Away From Home

This was a surprise trip for my husband and our "Boys." I selected it because of the woodsy feel which reminded Hubs of his childhood in Wisconsin and the fenced-in property allowed us to feel secure about walking with the Boys off-leash or simply running around to catch all of the sniffs. We will be back to this peaceful magical place. Thank you, Mike & Rob!

Little paradise

This is a great getaway. The cabin is adorable and the property is wonderful. It is fenced in. We could let our dog roam and not worry about him. The cabin is homey and comfortable. It has all that you need there. The property has a grill and fire pit. Plenty of outdoor space to relax and take in the nature. Wish we had more time to enjoy this gem. It was perfect for our weekend of peace and quiet to unwind. We look forward to coming back!

Another Day in Paradise

It actually rained Saturday and Sunday we were there we got up on Monday morning and it was just so beautiful and Mike and Rob the owners were very nice enough to let us stay for a late check out on Monday. So we got on our bikes and we rude the mountain bike trail road for about 2 hours got back got our beautiful husky dog sky packed our vehicle and headed back home we will be back and thanks again

Loved everything - Not able to get wifi signal but I had no problems with that fact , except I could not communicate with property owners , sorry if that was an issue. I can highly recommend this property - can understand why the owners fell in love with this little lot of heaven.

River front

The location is very peaceful. The house was clean, bed very comfortable. I believe that they need some serving bowls and another smaller size pan. The wireless doesn’t always work and cell reception is spotty. The shower is great but I feel they need a safety bar inside it. Having laundry facilities was great. I think a chair is needed in the bedroom and also a straight chair in the living room area.

Peaceful and clean

The available kayaks were a great addition to our time here as we paddled 3 miles of the river from the backyard to the state forest, hiking a few miles before kayaking back. Photos don't do this place justice. It is so clean and all of the kitchen items were available that we could've needed, so we cooked all of our meals at the house and used the grill too. There are a lot of peaceful areas to sit with coffee or have a meal, both inside and outside. The bed was very comfortable and we slept more solidly than either of us had in awhile. Communication was easy and fast. There are bits of information listed that are easy to follow (like where to find the first aid kit, or how to turn on the shower), and the owners were easy to reach quickly when I had a question. They even put a flashlight at the gate when they knew we'd be in after dark. We noticed the little things that were a nice touch too (like a welcome mat that was screwed to the deck so someone didn't trip on it and slide down the stairs). They really thought of everything. The calm and peacefulness of this property is well worth the price.

It really is Paradise

We've stayed at Paradise before. I think this was either our third or fourth time. We love it there peaceful and calm we bring our dog sky which really likes it there. We go over there to ride our mountain bikes they have great wood trails for bicyclers they also have great trails for road bicyclers. Perfect

I've stayed over the past 12 years a few times and it's always the same relaxing feeling. Town is fine with plenty of good restaurants and a grocery store. The cabin is a 1BR and rustic, but everything you need is there and plenty of cleared outdoor space. Lastly, I took my dogs and the property is fully fenced. If you have a small dog everywhere is fenced except the bottom of the front gate (which is pretty far away), otherwise you're fine. Both AC do need a tune up.

Rob and Mike purchased this property as a get away... They wanted to be close to the Withlacoochee River, Forest and Rails to Trails bike path..... While initially only visiting the property once a month they quickly grew to love the area and all that it has to offer. A few years ago they decided to look for a permanent home in the area that would be able to accommodate their love of animals and give them space to have more... Well they found the perfect place... Not far from the River House, in Sumter County a 60 acre ranch where they raise their goats, horses,chickens, donkeys and cattle on their own piece of heaven. Not wanting to completely part with the River House , they decided to rent it out as a vacation spot to travelers, so others could experience it.

Why they chose this property

Picking out this River House was easy.... The first time they saw this property they wrote an offer to purchase.... It was just that simple. Where else can you find a house on stilts that makes you feel like you are in a tree house on the river!

What makes this property unique

The property has this amazing trail that winds around the woods... with gopher tortoises checking you out as you pass them, and almost the entire property is shaded by oak trees... It has a great mystical feel!
