We brought our dog with a crate and it was wonderful to have a place to leave her for short periods of time. It was a beautiful home with lots of space for the 4 of us.
We had a great stay. Proximity to the park is nice. Got ours steps in on the way to River St. host is very responsive. The gas station across the street is a non issue. We’d stay again.
The property and surrounding area was just breathtaking. We loved the historic-downtown feel. The location is so convenient to many different places restaurants and shopping. Definitely a great little getaway for us I highly recommend it.
The host was very responsive and was able to quickly pivot when her cleaners didn't show up, she came herself to clean thoroughly and ensure we were settled. She communicated well on the day of arrival. The house was as described in the listing and our group of 6 people had a comfortable stay.
Property was beautiful and well appointed. A little bit of a walk to the riverfront but certainly manageable. One of the bedrooms was very small. It only had a queen size bed with no closet or place to put suitcases.
Easy 2 block walk to Forsyth Park and several excellent restaurants - Collins Quarter in park for brunch and .Local11ten for dinner as well as coffee nearby. Grocery store few blocks away. About a mile walk to river but with nice weather was not difficult. Parking space in back which was nice tohave. Gas station in front of house but we were out and about a lot so not an issue. Older college aged kids so house worked well for visit.
House was very clean with everything you need. Close to town and quiet neighborhood.

Thank you for your lovely review! We're glad you enjoyed the location and had a great breakfast at Collins Quarter. It was a pleasure being your host, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
This home was spectacular. The pictures don't do it justice. Immaculate, everything was shiny, new, well supplied kitchen basics. We walked to downtown Savannah - 1mile and easy stroll through beautiful parks filled with friendly people. The neighborhood is going through revitalization so seemed offputting but was great, generally quiet, and all wonderful. I highly recommend this lovely home.
We had the most wonderful stay at this property. Check in was very easy. The house was so clean and designed beautifully. Water pressure was wonderful, beds were comfortable and the body wash in the bathroom was amazing :)
Highly recommended.
We had 6 girls in town for our annual girls trip, coming from various locations in the country and this property was absolutely perfect for us. Not only did it have great indoor space and was a perfect home base for all our travels, the host was super helpful with all our random traveling questions and was so accommodating.
We used this house after my now fiancé and I got engaged. Communication was amazing from the homeowner and we felt at home with this place. I would recommend to anyone and will be staying here in the future!
Very nice, up to date home. Host was awesome, Parking in the rear of the home. Enjoy your stay here.

About the host
Hosted by Julianna Marcarelli
My name is Julianna Marcarelli. I am from just outside Los Angeles and am currently studying architecture at Savannah College of Art and Design. I grew up in a big family, and we always had people over. My mom is definitely the "hostess with the mostess," and it was she who inspired me to become a host. It is my greatest honor to serve others. My greatest desire is to provide a fabulous experience so that my guests will make memories that will last a lifetime.
Why they chose this property
There are too many things that I love about Savannah. At first, it was the southern hospitality, hanging Spanish moss, and enchanting squares that enticed me too, Savannah. But as I got settled, I began to explore the great cuisine, the breath-taking architecture, and the vast history that is steeped in Savannah culture. And the art—I am continually inspired by all the art in the city!
What makes this property unique
The Darling on Duffy provides its guests with a historic experience with all the modern amenities we so love. Built in 1900, this town house has an elegance and charm about it, and the renovations on the interior perfectly modernize the space while still maintaining the character we all so love in historic Savannah. This home is located in the Victorian District, only 2 blocks from Forsyth Park, making it right in the center of everything. It will leave its guests saying, "That place was simply darling."
