My recent stay at a VRBO property left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience.
Firstly, the host's demands were excessive and frankly off-putting. We were asked to remove our shoes before entering the property, an unusual and inconvenient request that set a negative tone for our stay. Additionally, we were expected to take out the trash and pull the bins for sanitation pick-up—a task that felt more like a chore than a part of a relaxing vacation.
Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of our stay was the host's last-minute call, just 30 minutes before our check-out time, requesting us to vacate the property. This abrupt demand left us feeling rushed and inconvenienced, disrupting what should have been a stress-free departure.
Moreover, I made a reservation for a group of 10 people, and it was disappointing to discover that the host did not adequately prepare for our group. There were only a limited number of towels provided, well below what would be expected for the number of guests specified in the reservation. This oversight added unnecessary frustration and inconvenience to our stay.
In conclusion, my experience with this VRBO rental was far from satisfactory. The host's demanding behavior, lack of consideration for guests, and inadequate preparation for the reserved party size left a lasting negative impression.
