Host answered all our questions and needs in a very quick manner. Firepits are a family favorite and this one was probably the best we’ve ever had. Never had such a view except at The Little Switzerland Inn near Spruce Pine. The home was a perfect fit for us, our three kids and their families. Lots of room, all on one level.

Thank you so much for the great review Steve! We have tried so hard to find a photographer who can capture the view in photos, but it really has been one of those things you have to see in person yourself to justify how good the view really is. Thanks again, and we can't wait to host you guys again in the future!!

Amazing stay

Property owner is extremely professional, has excellent communication, and provides well for you. We arrived right before a winter storm, and when anything went wrong, the owner was very quick to be on top of the problem. Everything in the property itself was amazing. 10/10 stay

Absolutely amazing

This is the absolute best place to stay with friends and family! Wonderful hosts who are very quick to respond to any and all questions or requests. The house is in a very quiet area with spectacular views. Firewood is provided for the fire pit and the hot tub is a plus. We can’t wait to return and have told many friends and family about this hidden gem in the mountains.

Incredible home and location

I can’t use enough adjectives to fully describe the views from the covered side porch and the hot tub/fire pit area! The home had plenty of room for us all with places the work, play games, rest, watch tv, cook fine meals and still close enough to hike all we wanted! Glorious!

Karen, we are so happy to hear you and your family enjoyed your time at our place as much as we do. And yes, we definitely need to get a professional photographer out there as soon as our last major additions are done, since words can't really describe the view and the pictures we have taken don't quite do it justice. We hope you are able to come back again soon!!

Unbelievable House

We had a group of 12 staying at the house. Plenty of space for everyone (much larger than it seemed in the photos in my opinion). The views were incredible and plenty to keep you occupied around the house. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Spacious House and Amazing Views

Stayed for a week in June with the extended family. The house was very spacious and well-equipped. Lots of room for kids and adults to do their own thing. The views from the fire pit and hot tub are incredible, especially at sunset. Very peaceful. Owners were super responsive before arrival as well as during our stay. Location is convenient to the Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, and more. Everyone in our group loved the house and would absolutely stay again.

Overall it was a great experience, the view from the fire pit is mind blowing, the house had all the provisions to make you feel cozy and like we r really at the mountains and in the midst of nature! The HO was constantly in touch with us and helped solve any problem. Given a chance we would come back to the house once again!

Spectacular stay

Absolutely incredible experience at this mountain cabin! The views were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning panoramas of the surrounding peaks that made every morning feel magical. The cabin itself was cozy, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings offered the perfect escape from everyday life. We spent our days snowboarding at sugar mountain, relaxing on the deck/hot tub, and taking in the fresh mountain air. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene getaway with unparalleled views! Will definitely be returning.

Thank you so much for the amazing review Johnnie! We actually just switched cleaners recently after we noticed a few imperfections when at the house ourselves, so thanks so much for pointing out that the new cleaner is leaving the place "spotless". That is 100% our goal every time, so we are glad the effort to switch has paid off!! We hope you are able to make it out to the high country again very soon!
