The hostess answered email questions quickly. Main complaint: it took us 2 hours and a police courtesy escort to find. No one we asked in Concan ( including the fire dept.) Had heard of it. If it weren't for VRBO we began to think we had been scammed. Once located, it was lovely. And we had a nice stay.
My Wife and I wanted to find a nice place to stay so we could spend a few days at Garner State Park. This wound up being the perfect place. Everything was as premised, and we enjoyed our stay.
We would recommend this place to everyone.
We enjoyed our stay and it was in a perfect location. A few minutes from the store, river, and Garner State Park. Thank you again for having us and we’ll be back.
Worked out good. Couple of issues: No deodorant in tank, smoke alarm chirping, No stove/oven, very few towels.

First bad experience
We played around Garner state park waiting to receive check-in instructions. We where told we would receive them at 3pm for the 4pm check-in time. We had to contact the host via the VRBO site with very limited internet. They sent instructions with no property address. When we finally made it. It was clean but the smell was terrible. Bad enough we didn't stay.

Only thing I have to say is that it was hard to find the property after dark because there were not any reflecters or a sign that had the RV park on it. As far as the trailer, it was very nice.
Extremely disappointing experience. I never even made it inside the property due to poor communication and payment confusion between the host and VRBO. I entered my credit card when booking and assumed payment was complete — no one ever reached out before my trip to say otherwise. While driving to the property with my family (including a toddler), the host suddenly informed me that I hadn’t paid and refused access. I was 20 minutes away and pulled over to sort it out, but VRBO’s system blocked links, phone numbers, and emails, preventing any real communication. The host then went silent for a time, and we were left stranded on the side of the road with no confirmation or place to stay.I did not cancel — I was on my way. The lack of proactive communication and professionalism turned what should’ve been a relaxing getaway into a stressful ordeal. I had to book another place last-minute.Would not rent from this host again and hope VRBO improves how payments and guest communication are handled.
We booked this trailer for a last minute one night stay trip to the frio. The trailer was beautiful and had plenty of space for our family of four. Kind of a random property off the highway but felt secluded. The entrance to the property could be difficult to find at night but not impossible. GPS tells you exactly where to turn but with service being hit or miss signage or solar lights for night time would be nice.
Although we didn’t use the kitchen it appeared well stocked with anything you’d need to make a meal. The shower was really nice and spacious. The bed was so comfortable! I wish there would have been extra blankets so my kids could have slept in the little upstairs nook-very cool! It was too cold to be up there without one and I had forgotten an extra at home. We managed just fine all together in the bed. Two extra towels would have been nice as well but thankfully we brought those. Overall a great stay and I’ll have it saved for future use.
