CHECK IN was a nightmare: arrived late in the evening and didn’t get any instructions from Expedia. Called the and they couldn’t provide an access code to enter the building as they couldn’t rea the host. Took me 1 hour to convince a resident to let me in.
Couldn’t get access to a WiFi—they didn’t leave a password—and all the towels and bed linen were very wet.
FLAT: it is nice, clean and seems it was renovated recently. Had all the necassy things in good condition.Host was quick to respond, kind and respectful. Location was good for what I needed. The hot water in the shower works in a counterintuitive way and there were no instructions. It cost me a shower with cold water the first day.
CHECK-OUT: bad experience. Check out is at 11am, but had to leave at 12 because of a work call. The host said she would charge me a $25 fine which, as she rightly explained, is entitled to according to the rules. I asked her no to charge me given the problems I experienced checking in. She refused to do it saying it was not her fault but Expedia’s.
She has the right to do it, but is a bad decision. When you apply the rules only on your favor (I didn't ask for and she didn’t offer any compensation for the problems that were her responsibility) you don't get good reviews.
