*2 bedrooms (1st floor suite & 2nd floor loft suite w/ no door, both having attached bathrooms and walk-out on to decks) and 2 bathrooms.
*RENTERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN BED AND BATH LINENS UNLESS PREARRANGED WITH A LINEN RENTAL COMPANY OR WITH OWNER.
*Bedrooms have connecting bathrooms, walkin closets, individual TVs and access to decks via new sliding glass doors.
*1st floor- convenient entry way w/ plenty of places to hang your shopping bags, personal belongings or beach cover-ups.
*Living room w/ comfy sectional sofa & rocker w/ Xfinity cable TV & Internet.

*Via quaint spiral staircase is a large 300 sq ft 2nd bedroom loft w/ curtained half wall w/ 4 twin beds: 1 day bed with pull out trundle bed and then 2 twin beds which can be pushed together to make a king bed. RENTERS MUST BRING OWN BED & BATH LINENS. Off the bedroom is a large deck w/ chairs and table ready for you to rest & relax.
*1st & 2nd floor bathrooms- sink area is separate from toilet & tub/shower area by connecting door, allowing for multi-use.
*Laundry area- behind bi-fold doors on 1st floor, outside bathroom. Washer/dryer are full size. Drying racks in outside storage for beach towels.
*All guests over four years old must purchase a weekly Sea Colony recreation badge ($55 from June 8-September 17; $25 from April 1-June 8and September 18-24; $15 all other times in 2024). A parking pass is included.
*Unit has easy access to beach (by crossing over Coastal Highway via crosswalks), pool & tennis courts and neighbors the Marketplace at Sea Colony which has 3 restaurants, gift shops, candy shop, ice cream shop, beach goods store and bike rentals.
*Delaware Seashore State Park is just to the north and Fenwick Island State Park is a 5 minute car ride away.
*Twenty minutes north is Dewey & Rehoboth Beach which offers great shopping (tons of outlet stores and quaint one-of-a-kind shops) & restaurants.
*Ten to twenty minutes South is Fenwick Island & Ocean City Maryland which also has lots of shopping and a great night life as well.
*Less than 3 hours by car from Baltimore, DC & Philadelphia areas.

We stayed here last minute after a large local rental company cancelled our booking less than 2 days before we arrived. This place was excellent. My mom can only do limited stairs, so having a bathroom and bedroom on the first level was great. We stayed upstairs with two small kids. Perfect for our group of 6. The place was very clean and had all the things we needed. Parking was convenient and it was close to the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location. Lovely home.

We have stayed in Sea Colony six times, and this was our favorite property and location. It is so nice to walk across the street to one of the many restaurants at marketplace at the end of the day, and it’s only a 5-7 min walk to the beach and to many pools. The house has games and beach toys. The owner was very attentive and communicative. Can’t wait to come back.

The location of this unit is just perfect in it's proximity to the Marketplace and the tram stop and the beach...it is ideal! The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, and Lori was easy to communicate with and very responsive and helpful! I would for sure recommend this booking to anyone else looking for a get away at Sea Colony / Bethany Beach! Thanks for everything, Lori!

Great location!

This rental was a perfect fit for my family (three daughters ages 4, 9 and 11). The upstairs loft bedroom with attached bathroom was absolutely perfect for my three girls to share. The house was clean and we loved the location. Right across the street from a small plaza with a couple stores, bike rentals, candy shop and great ice cream. Also just a short walk across rt1 to the beach- you could drive across and park or take the little sea colony bus that comes by but the walk was totally manageable for even my 4 yr old. We would definitely rent again- Thanks for everything!!!

The condo could use some sprucing up, but overall a nice place. The listing stated the condo had 2 bedrooms. I assumed this meant that there would be a door on the upstairs room. There was not, and it was easy to hear everything going on downstairs, including the TV.

Place was very clean location was great and within walking distance of all you need. Be aware of the process it takes to get a guest pass and the cost of the passes. Owner made no mention of these costs at all. Also I’m not a huge fan of threatening extra charges for any little thing out of place.

Good two-day rental

Lori's condo was comfortable and she was easy to communicate with from the start. We were two adult couples who needed a place at the beach for two nights so, given how few weekend rentals seem to be available, this worked very well for us. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and the bedroom configuration made for privacy. It probably should be noted clearly and up front in the HomeAway listing that starting in June each year, each person staying at a Sea Colony rental has to pay a 40 dollar resort fee. We knew there would be a fee involved but had not been told that we'd be adding a full160 dollars on to the cost of our 48 hour rental. As it happens, we never used the "facilities."

Persnickety Rules

Let’s start with the good. The property was tidy and in a great location for Ocean City and Bethany Beach, and private beach access was a huge plus. However, a set of overbearing rules, notes on every single item in the home, and an inaccurate listing left us feeling like an imposition and unwelcome. The hosts priority was clearly on keeping the property in a certain way, and not on guest comfort. I booked the property about 6 months in advance for a special event in Ocean City, and upon booking there was no indication of needing to bring our own bedding, a unique check in procedure, or insane rules. A few days prior, the host informed me about bringing bedding and sending a long, confusing email about check-in. this is a condo in a resort style property that requires a resort badge ($15 per person in extra fees) and a parking pass. At the property we were instantly greeted with signs, tags, and a long list of dos and don’ts. The rules included sitting on a clean sheet on the couch to avoid soiling it, and leaving a completely clean sink/drain catcher. The signs were on every item in the unit. Not complying with the rules led to threats of fines, for items as small as having not placed the remote back in its original place. This left us to feel like we were walking on eggshells for simply existing in the space. Overall, the onerous rules and stress caused by following them to the letter made this an unpleasant stay.

The 4 beds in the loft with a bathroom worked great for my 4 boys (ages 5-12). The dining living area was nice and had room for all. There is a nice spacious deck outside with lots of chairs. The location was great. Across route 1 and through a building to the beach and pool A short walk to restaurants, CVS, Walgreens,, mini golf and more. Sea Colony has indoor and outdoor pools, activities, tennis. I would highly recommend.

Excellent location to the sea colony restaurants and ice cream shop. In warmer weather that would also be an excellent location to walk to beach. Lots of outdoor space at unit itself and lots of sunlight enter the unit. Owner was quickly responsive to questions. Indoor community pools in great shape and the tennis courts were in excellent shape as always.

Local Getaway

Lori was fantastic and very responsive to our needs during our stay. The unit was clean, cozy and comfortable. We stayed during bike week and the street noise kept us from using the 1st floor bedroom but the loft was more than comfortable and had a full bath. We would definately stay again.

Prior to remodeling the unit for the rental season, our family spent delightful summers at Sea Colony. You will love this place as it has so much to offer and gives you a small town feel. It is a wonderful place with.... tennis, pickleball, the beach, fitness center, biking, pools, good food at local restaurants, & southern hospitality. You will find it all here. Our condo is in an excellent location as you can walk to the fitness center, tennis and the beach as it is centrally located. We are only 450 steps (3/10ths of a mile) from the Atlantic Ocean. Or if you prefer, you can take the shuttle. Without a doubt, we know you will love all that Sea Colony and our lovely condo has to offer.
I enjoy walks on the beach and it is easy to walk all the way to the boardwalk in Bethany. Also I enjoy the classes at the fitness center which are available for a small fee. Most of all the tennis & pickleball facility is wonderful. They offer clinics and camps for both tennis and pickleball. We are fortunate to have two top ranked tennis clubs in the area. The other is at Dave Marshall Tennis & Fitness Center in Lewes, DE. 302 462-0062. Although it is a 30 minute drive, the instruction is worth it and then you can take a visit to the town of Lewes (go to Agave for lunch or dinner-awesome fresh Southwest cuisine or Nectars for organic juices, breakfast and lunch) or go to the outlets in Rehoboth. We still live in the area (1.5 miles away) so feel free to call w/ any questions or concerns. (302) 344-1692.
