Beautiful lake front cottage with plenty of space for your family or friends to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Highland Lake. The main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and enclosed porch from which to enjoy the views of the lake and listen to the call of the Loons. Over the garage is an apartment with full bath, living and dining area and sleeping area. Outside enjoy your private dock or take a swim out to your float. Hop into the canoe or kayak, which are included, to explore the lake. The lakeside deck is perfect for enjoying a meal and then move over to the fire pit to roast marshmallows for your S'mores.
Short distance to town for shopping, dining, movie theater or a good old fashion Drive-in. Hiking is all around on nearby trails and Pleasant Mountain. Only 25 minutes away, North Conway, NH offers more shopping, dining, mini golf or take a ride on the scenic railway. The Saco River is a great way to spend time floating in a tube while taking in the scenery.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, glasses, pots & pans and supplies. The house was beautiful and well organized. Perfect for a family vacation with or without kids. Our Gabriel place was the covered deck on the water.

We had a wonderful week at the lake. This house has all the kitchen supplies you need for baking, BBQ and more. Our teenagers could access WiFi as needed and I could manage a few work calls as well without difficulty. The property is beautiful the water was amazing! Would highly recommend this property for small family vacations.

Family Vacation

Overall we had a great time at this lake house! The house was so clean and ready for us it was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked, except for dinner forks, but otherwise had everything we needed for baking and meal prep. The water was beautiful and the dock was great for our boat and paddle boards. The house was a little smaller than the pictures led us to believe, but the family of 4 did great with a clean living space above the garage for my sister-in-law to have to herself at night. The owner was responsive to all communication and we had a wonderful week.
