A great place for a family vacation to the Grand Canyon. Secluded out in the country is exactly what we wanted but close to the Canyon. Beds were comfortable and large kitchen and dining table were great for family dinners.

Fantastic location for access to the park. Able to enjoy more time in the park by not taking time to get to the park.The property was comfortable and cozy. All amenities needed were available. It was a wonderful experience for the entire family.

Perfect for the Grand Canyon

Would highly recommend this property for families wanting to visit the GC south rim area. You won’t find closer accommodations for a family. Lots of room and a beautiful night sky!

Good for large families or groups

Very comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen was very well equipped. It's basically as close as you can get to the Grand Canyon for a rental house. Some of the decor is outdated and could be updated, and the water pressure was often low or uneven. Very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful sunsets.

Comfy, quiet house.

Well-stocked, comfortable house, about 25 minute drive to the Grand Canyon Visitors Center. Quiet location, nice common areas for hanging out in the evenings, bedrooms were comfortable. It looks just like the photos.

Birthday weekend

Went here for a birthday weekend with 9 people. Nice place - clean, well equipped, large, 25 minutes from Grand Canyon and 30 minutes from Williams. Host super helpful and accommodating! Go grocery shopping in Williams on your way in.

Peaceful and close to Grand Canyon

Large home with plenty of space for all. It was an excellent location without the crowds or someone on the other side of a wall. If you have a large family coming to the Grand Canyon — this is your place! The home was well laid out and had a spacious kitchen. We loved not having a neighbor and the dark star filled skies. I think it was the most stars I have ever seen.

A long dirt/gravel road leads to this secluded gem, which is unimpressive from the outside but fantastic inside. Four siblings, three spouses and one cousin (all 60 plus years old) thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean home. We all agreed that it was our favorite VRBO out of the four we stayed in on this epic 17 day national park tour! We especially loved the large dining table and the two "living rooms" (the sofas were all very comfortable.) Two full bathrooms and a half bath made it really easy for all of us old folks to have access to frequent night time visits! Highly recommend!

Grand Canyon family trip

Perfect place to stay and spread out after a hot day hiking! I was looking for a place that would let the 4 of us (2 adults & 2 teens) have more personal space to relax and decompress after a day of hiking and driving than a cramped hotel room would offer, and this was it! There’s more room than the pictures gives it credit. Very peaceful and remote. Williams is a short 30 min drive away with a great Safeway to get all your groceries. Even in the hot summers, the morning and evening hours are delightful to sit outside on the porch and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Would definitely choose it again if given the option!

Nice property, but..

We had a great time, but the owners really need to replace the shower control in the hall bathroom. Other people have complained about it in past comments and I thought the owners said it was fixed. Well, not so much. Not a fun way to start the day with everyone having to share one shower.

Spacious home just outside Grand Canyon

We stayed here with a big field team geologizing in the Grand Canyon. The home was a cheerful base of operations, with a big kitchen, lots of room for everyone, and mere minutes from the South Entrance. Looking forward to staying again.

All five adults loved this property. It’s an easy 20 min drive from GC park entrance and much more affordable than the hotels in Tusayan or in GC park. We also enjoyed havi g kitchen, separate bedrooms and common area.

Great home near the Grand Canyon

We stayed there along with my husband's parents, and we had more than enough space. The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed some quiet time there after spending most of 2 days at Grand Canyon. It's about a 30 minute drive from the house to the entrance of the Grand Canyon (more if the traffic is backed up at the pay stations due to the government cuts), so it's about as far away as I would like to stay with driving back and forth.Trish is super helpful, and we would happily stay there again should we return to the area.

Good beginning, rough ending

First, the positives... This property was very conveniently situated near the Grand Canyon National Park and other local destinations. The views were lovely. The home is spacious enough for a large family vacation and nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night. When we arrived, there was a problem with the water pressure and cleanliness. The property manager took care of this problem (the result of a recent water filter change) in less than 24 hours. Unfortunately, the second half of our stay was not without its issues. There was an infestation of flying insects in my daughter's bedroom, more than a dozen each night. More problematic was the horrible smell in the master bathroom and bedroom. It seemed to us that an animal had likely died either under the home or in the walls or vents. Initially, this could be contained by closing the doors and not spending any time in the space, but later the strong odor permeated into the living space. This made it difficult to enjoy watching TV in the living room and eating dinner together in the dining room. My husband and I had to sleep on the couch during the last two nights of the stay as the smell in the master suite was intolerable. We contacted the property manager who then came out to address the problem by sealing off the vent. This did not solve the problem. We have requested a partial refund to compensate for the issue and are waiting to hear from the property manager who was away due to a family emergency.

Its very convenient to visit the Grand Canyon area, very privately tucked off the hwy for easy access, No hwy noise. Its an absolutely peaceful, enjoyable setting with some fantastic sunsets, wildlife feel at ease here. You can just unload the worlds worries and feel at peace.
