This is a second floor, corner beach apartment is just 10 minutes from El Yunque Rain Forest, 25 minutes from the Fajardo Dos Cabezas Reserve, and the ferries to Vieques and Culebra islands. It is part of a gated community which is located next to a secluded beach, has two pool areas, community center, gym with saunas, tennis court, basketball half court, and playground areas. It is also near great local food kiosks in Luquillo and Piñones as well as to top chef restaurants located at St. Regis Resort, Condado, Isla Verde and Old San Juan. Golf courses nearby. Snorkeling, catamaran tours and night kayaking tours to the bioluminescent bay are not far away at Fajardo. This tranquil condominium will make you fall in love with Puerto Rico.

The Villas del Mar Beach Resort has small grocery stores close by and about a 10 min drive from The Outlet Mall, to Walmart Super Center, Ralphs Food Warehouse, Marshalls and much more...For the golfer, there are several championship courses nearby such as St. Regis Resort Starwood, Wyndham Resort and Grand Melia Resort.

Loiza is famous for his St. Jaime's Carnival, 'vejigante' colorful masks and costumes, traditional to this town. Loiza also has the Iglesia San Patricio which dates to 1670.

Good property with very responsive property manager.

Good location close to most excursion points and the rain forest. Property manager was very responsive. Check in process was very simple as well as the check out process. Nice gated community with beach access. Walmart was within 20 minutes to get your groceries.

What a great stay!

Staying at Madelin's place was truly delightful. The check-in process was smooth, thanks to the detailed instructions provided. The apartment was spotless clean and spacious. The added bonus of private pools and beach access made the experience even better. I would certainly consider returning in the future.

Great Location

Perfect spot between getting in from San Juan and going to Fajardo or the rain forest. The condo had all we needed to cook dinner each night. And nice beaches nearby.

I really thought a lot about how to review this property, because it has a collection of very excellent pros with some scattered cons associated with it. First off and most important was the cleanliness. Excellent. Second, communication with the property owner was also excellent. I had trouble (my problem) opening the main door on arrival, and an immediate call to the owner resolved the issue. The security folks at the complex were also very approachable and helpful. Another plus. However, the property is advertised as having beach access. This is not the case, and seems to have not been for quite a while, yet the description on vrbo indicates it is. A bit of a disappointment. The last item is that the surrounding neighborhood has experienced economic hardship. If this is something you are not used to, it will appear less than desirable. Again, this is no fault of the property owner as is most likely the closed beach area. Finally, the property is close to El Yunque, (20 min) and about 40 minutes from San Juan proper. You will need a car. Overall we had a pleasant stay and got to experience Día de los Reyes, or Three Kings Day, quite the party in Puerto Rico.

This complex was one of the last beach front apartments built in Puerto Rico. It is well taken care off and we take pride in it and we want our guests to feel at home, relaxed and happy.

What makes this property unique

Loiza is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but is close enough to drive to town if you want to enjoy the night life of Condado and Old San Juan.
