About this property

Viola Suites Apt 2 // 2 BR, Pet Friendly, Economical, Lg Yard, Near Mayo!

Suite 2 is a quiet 2-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, den, and private deck with views of our beautiful wooded backyard. Our property is very close to the Quarry Hill Nature Center trail system.

Bedroom one has a queen size bed with dresser, closet, and 32" TV. Bedroom two has a dressing area with recliner chair and closet, king size bed, dresser, and 32" TV. Living room offers a lounge chair, loveseat, coffee table and 50" TV. Kitchen has full size fridge, gas range, dishwasher and microwave. Den has couch, writing desk, gas fireplace, and back door to private deck. Bathroom has pedestal sink, full size shower tub with safety grip bars.

Parking is free in our gravel lot out front. Laundry machines are coin-operated and located in our garage (available during the hours of 9am - 8pm).

Perfect for our stay

We needed a place to stay for after my husband's surgery and this was perfect. Close to everything but not right in town. Loved the big back yard and wildlife we got to see every day. Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful backyard.

We saw 2 deer playing in backyard and small neighborhood dog chasing and playing with them. Big windows gives a great view. Very comfortable place!

Excellent Option for Anyone going to Mayo

This is a wonderful option for anyone going to Mayo Clinic. We came for cancer care for my dad and were so comfortable here! The den was a perfect place for me to set up my home office so I could work remotely while we were there for appointments. The property manager Becca was fantastic with communication and very accommodating. We met Anne and Rebecca (neighbors) and both were so lovely and helpful. Grateful to have had this home away from home while in Rochester!

Nice, but Dated

Becca's property are always very well stocked. The dwelling itself was dated and the 1 bathroom was very small. The plastic shower curtain liner could be replaced with something softer like a linen, etc. The outside property was gorgeous! I enjoyed sitting in the LR recliner looking outside at the trees and front yard. It was ok our purposes for a couple of days.

Terrific place to stay while visiting Mayo

The apartment is part of a larger building with 3 other units with permanent residents. Everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. We rarely heard noise from other units, even when windows were open. The property is large with plants, gardens and ravines and is peaceful. Short, 10-minute drive to the Mayo campus. Very convenient. The rooms were all very clean and kitchen was stocked so we could do meals at the house. I highly recommend Viola Suite!!

Disappointing

The online reviews didn't match up with what we found. The bedding had bleach spots & stains, dirty used sponge in the sink for our use as well, pet friendly...but wasn't expecting the furniture to be covered in pet hair. We had to cover couch & recliner with sheets just to sit on them so our clothes didn't pick up someone else's pet hair. Unacceptable. Sadly, we left after spending one night there.

In the future, as mentioned in the house manual sent to you at the time of reservation and printed in the apartment, if you find anything not to your expectations please alert the host so we can try to remedy it.
