Excellent Location

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. Communication was good with the host, and the property was as described. However, we were unable to get the TV going the whole time we were there in spite of many interventions and attempts. The check in process did work, but was complicated. Attention to these two things would be beneficial.

Great location

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. The host was very quick with answering any questions I had. The only issue I had with the property was that the hot tub was out of order for what looked to be maintenance. When running it will be an amazing place to stay. Only big issue I had was with VRBO making it nearly impossible to get any information from. But the host was great

Getaway

We thought that it was a very long process to get into the apartment condo. Once in we found everything on our own. The email@bout where everything was and the tv and wifi came on Thursday and we arrived on Tuesday. The space was good. There are 4 chairs to the table and 2 really need repair. Could not get the fob back into the lock box so had to leave on the kitchen counter. Overall I would rent from Vrbo again.

Disappointing

A hot tub was necessary for this trip and this property came up with the hot tub filter on the VRBO booking site and there was no indication the hot tub was not available on the page where the reservation was booked. When I arrived the hot tub wasn't open - it's seasonal. I booked elsewhere but the host was not willing to provide even a partial refund. VRBO did provide a partial recompense which I am grateful for. Check-in was a labyrinth to be navigated with videos. Beware!

Hi Cindy thanks for the review. But, for fair sake, the availability of hot tub, which opens between May and Thanksgiving, is literally indicated in the Pool and Sauna Facilities subsection of the Amenities section. This information is available to everyone. Your refund request on the 3rd night into your booking also made zero sense. Eventually, Vrbo offered you a partial refund out of courtesy because they hold a liability in its design of layout which made that piece of information unobvious/invisible. Thank you.

Family summer break

-playa del sol is in a great location and the complex itself is great. Nice amenities (pool, gym, secure underground parking). -communication with the host was prompt but we never received check in instructions until we were 30 minutes away and only because I reached out. At that point the host asked us to EMT a 200 deposit to receive check in codes, red flag. Never have we been asked for money outside of VRBO. And then mysteriously the listing was no longer online, I was panicking thinking my family had been scammed. It ended up working out. -check in process was insane; walk around the permitter of the complex to look through the fence to find a lock box to get a fob to get into the building. I felt like a burglar. -the condo was not equipped well; no beach towels, only 4 bath towels for our family of 4. One dish cloth, no dish scrubber, no garbage bags, only 2 dishwasher pods. No foil/plastic wrap, cooking spray. No oven safe pans/baking sheets. -the beds and bedding were TERRIBLE. Hard, plastic, and smelt like ethnic peoples body odor. -the dryer was a POS as well, 3 cycles to dry towels despite the setting we used and the lint trap looked like it hadn’t been emptied since it was installed.-the floors were not clean when we checked in, tons of debris under the table and our feet were black from walking bare foot on day 1. If the floors were that dirty I cringe to think about how poorly the rest was cleaned.Overall, great location/building but awful unit.
