I already knew the area from a stay at another cabin previously. This cabin did not disappoint. From the booking to the time we left, everything was seamless. The owners were attentive to my questions and understanding of a time line i was on. I had just completed hiking the Continental Divide Trail through the basin and needed a quiet place to relax and put my feet up. Everything about this place was exactly what I needed.
What a great spot to stay for a winter snowmobile trip. A cozy place to gather with family and friends right next to the snowmobile trails and access to millions of acres of backcountry riding. Everything went smoothly with check in and we enjoyed our stay.
Was a great place to stay , close to line shack and crooked creek. Trails were excellent, along with off trail. It was a little tight backing into driveway with trailer .
The cabin smelled like terrible rotten eggs when we got there because it appears there is no well/water purification filter...or it was faulty. We highly recommend fixing that problem, as we had to run out the hot water heater to get rid of the old hot water that smelled so bad. Minor other improvement is that the light switches are wired wrong....going into an entryway, the closest first switch should be the light switch for that area. A better description of how to set up and use the TV and streaming services should be in the cabin instruction booklet. Overall, we were satisfied and these are just common sense improvement ideas; not really a complaint.
This was a beautiful cabin! Location details could've been a little explained a little more. When you turn off tar road, you travel up a gravel road 5 miles. Be prepared for washboards & as in our case, sodium chloride, the stuff that eats away at your car. Now, I know that's not the owners fault, just making guests aware. It took us 40 minutes to make the 5 mile trek because we went so slow as to not splatter the chloride up on the body of my truck. The cabin was set on a quite road. The night sky was gorgeous from here! The cabin was mostly clean. Some things I think may have been overlooked: the sheets on the upstairs bed had an almost grease stain on them & the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom had either mildew/mold buildup or rust on it. We could not get the downstairs TV remote to work at all even after scrounging around to find new batteries, which was not the problem. I did reach out to the owner to let him know of this, as it wasn't a big deal for us as we didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin, but maybe future guests would. There is a hot tub on the back deck which we were excited about when we saw it but when we went to lift up the cover, it was bone dry & very dirty. I know many people may not think of wanting to jump in a hot tub in July but after hiking all day it would've been nice to relax at the end of the day when the temps cooled off.Communication with owner wasn't very adequate either.

We reply prior to checkin within 24 hours. During your stay, we respond immediately. In addition, cell.phone numbers for immediate response is at the cabin. We are sorry to hear of the sheets. Our house keeper notified us of the sheets and have restocked the house with more new ones. The hot tub is not advertised for use nor did you pay for it..it is also not in any pictures or listed as a feature. Yes, you travel om a dirt road but its a normal wyoming road.
