About this property
Big Diamond Ranch<br>Luxury home with mountain views and a river running through
This exclusive home sits high on top of the hill. The all-glass window front has an unobstructed view over the mountain range, the valley and the Wind River.
Guests are welcome to fish the private stretch of river. We have brown trout, cutthroat, rainbows, cut-bows, brookies and whitefish.
Being located 12 miles west of the town of Dubois, allows for a head-start in getting to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton or Jackson Hole. The back of the house opens directly to 2.5 million acres of forest, a playground for 4-wheeling, horseback riding or some world class snowmobiling in the winter.
Dubois is close enough to Jackson (69 miles) for a day visit or an evening in a classy restaurant, but far enough to be away from the crowds.
The drive to the national park entry is 45 minutes and leads over the Continental Divide. The scenic drive offers stunning views over the Teton range, and moose, elk, and grizzly can often be seen along the road.
This area is famous for hiking, fly-fishing, horseback riding or simply mountain sight-seeing. There are many pristine alpine lakes close by and an abundant wildlife to view and photograph.
Put a sun chair to the mountain backdrop, close your eyes, feel the presence of the fresh mountain air and relax, or go out there into the wilderness and play your heart out. Nature doesn’t come more violently breathtaking as in Yellowstone’s backyard.
