The history of Green Gable Inn starts with my great grandparents who immigrated from Norway in the 1890's and were the third settlers in Hansville. In 1915 my grandparents, John and Matilda, bought this property, built a house and raised their three children. The first house burnt down and the community rallied around them and together they built the second house. They also build a cabin and rented it out during the summer months (one of the first vacation rentals) to local fishermen that came to Hansville which was widely known as a popular salmon fishing area. The property stayed in the family and the house was expanded and renovated. In 2003 an expansive addition was built and the original house extensively renovated to what you see now. We love the Pacific Northwest and love sharing our home and this piece of history with our guests. Shared wall with owner's quarters. Owner lives on site.
Guest Access: Check in is 4PM and check out by 10AM.
Separate entrance to the guest quarters. The family room has a partially shared wall with owner's quarters. Continental breakfast items provided: eggs, juice, fresh cinnamon bread from local bakery, oatmeal, granola, coffee and tea. Condiments including butter and oil, salt and pepper and coffee creamer. Any special request will be considered.
