Picture Perfect White Christmas

Our family (6 adults and 3 kids) spent a picture perfect White Christmas at this gorgeous chalet in Ellicottville. The home is perfectly appointed and stunning, tucked away in the hills with views of the beautiful surrounding valley. There was quite a bit of snow before we arrived but everything was plowed and shoveled for us and there was plenty of room to park our four cars. We were able to ski at Holiday Valley, and use the snow shoes the host provided to hike around the property. The kitchen had literally everything we needed to cook Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners. The cozy fireplace, hot tub and shuffleboard table were icing on the cake! We really hope to return and enjoy this stunning property in other seasons of the year. Can’t recommend it enough!

It is a pretty house with a beautiful view. Some issues: Sliding door unlocked Fireplace remote- no battery Shaker filled with liquid and rusted. 1 of 2 wine bottle openers broken Downstairs trash can full. Dirty sectional, blankets & bedding. Thermostat- very cold downstairs when fireplace is on. Needs 2 units

A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER

This is our second time staying at a “Stay Aprés” property, but the first time at this particular spot. We were so impressed with the initial stay that we couldn’t wait to book another trip a month later, and this location was just as impressive if not more.Location:Less than 5 mins from the main road in town and the mountains (perfect for the family members that went snowboarding but also great for the ones who wanted to stay behind at the house all weekend).Amenities:Hot tub is incredible, and the fire pit was conveniently stocked with wood to burn on a cold snowy day! The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Spices, oil, coffee… just very well thought out amenities. Couch: Was so comfortable and the major hang spot! We also really enjoyed the games downstairs and the “bar” for the adults!Overall: Everything was incredibly clean, comfortable and luxurious. We can’t wait to book in the early spring!
