My family & I stayed here for a reunion / 4th of July. We had several houses in the area booked & they were all amazing! - alpine basecamp had everything we needed for the week some. The hosts were super communicative & helpful throughout the entire booking process & our stay. The location was perfect, only a few minute drive / bike ride into downtown red lodge & super close to the rodeo grounds! I will definitely be booking this place again for future stays in red lodge. excellent place!
If you are going to Red Lodge, stop looking and book this house NOW! Reviews elsewhere are 10/10 and if I could give this house an 11, I would. The house was perfect for our family (parents, 3 teen boys). The photos depict the house well, which is not always the case. It was plenty good size for our family. When we were at the house, we spent a lot of time as a family playing shuffleboard, bags by the fire and/or in the hot tub after we spent the day hiking. The patio was awesome. We saw a couple of deer in the backyard (they are all over the city!). The house was immaculately clean. We did not have one issue or reason to reach out to the owner during our 5 night stay in Red Lodge. That speaks volumes. The neighborhood is nice, consisting of houses that all look similar. Very quiet neighborhood. Construction underway down the road, but not bothersome. Location was perfect relative to everything w/in Red Lodge (5 mts to downtown eating/shopping) great spot for hikes we did (w/in a couple of hours of the house).I didn't realize there was a community pool to use, and the boys spent some hours there as well. Beds were all comfy. A/C was nice. Furnishings were not cheap/trash that you find in some VRBOs. Extra touches everywhere that you don't always find (throw blankets, tons of garbage bags, lots of cups/glasses/plates/cooking/baking stuff/name brand soap). The only thing we had to buy was extra paper towel (blaming my teens for over using)!LOVED IT!
