We met our adult children at Moosetraks in Red Lodge MT. We were immediately impressed with the house - it was so clean, nicely renovated and well appointed. A recent snowfall blanketed the town, but we were also impressed that 2 parking spaces were cleared in front of the house. Beds were clean, with quality linens, and so comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. We enjoyed xc skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking based on recommendation by neighbor and a friendly shop owner. A short walk to downtown allowed us to explore the town after our daily winter adventures. Backyard looks awesome, but the winter snow dissuaded us from checking it out. Definitely recommend this charming house!
GREAT location just two blocks off main street. Very clean and comfortable. The back deck and yard were a perfect place to relax. The kitchen was very well stocked. The cleaner realized I had mistakenly left my Yeti cooler and contacted me through the host to return it - VERY thankful for their kindness.
This home is in a perfect location. Easy and a short walk to downtown but not busy with traffic. Very quiet and charming. Very clean. The backyard is a real bonus. Things were well stocked and welcoming.
Just for feedback…, there is a slight musty smell when u first walk in. Also we didn’t know someone was renting the basement full time and was surprised to see someone walking through the backyard to the back gate. They were quiet and no problem, just startled someone was there. Would be nice to know that up front. (If that info is on your site we missed it.
Loved the place and highly recommend
Our primary purpose in visiting Red Lodge is to hike and happy to report that many roads / trails have now been repaired following the catastrophic flooding of two years' back.
Moose Traks has been our "base camp" in Red Lodge for the past three years and continues to provide us with everything we need! As such, hoping to return for another visit next year.
Nice yard, nicely done remodeled home. Well stocked kitchen and laundry room. Very roomy kitchen, very nice patio. Very close to downtown. We had a great stay.
We loved Moose Tracks! A restful bungalow, beautifully furnished, with a beautiful back yard. It was well stocked in the kitchen which made cooking our dinners more enjoyable.
Thank you for making our Red Lodge spot so enjoyable!
We loved this home. The location was perfect. Walkable to all the great restaurants and shops that Red Lodge has to offer. We love this town and would totally stay in this home again. Had everything you need. I do believe there was someone living below the main home in the basement. We never saw them, perhaps the owner, I'm not sure. We just heard them some the first night we were there. Hopefully we didn't make too much noise for them either.
This is a wonderful house- we stayed 2 nights- they thought of everything- full ice trays- chilled beer glasses- chocolates on the towels- the house has everything you need- laundry- microwave- dishwasher- crockpot- coffeemaker. The back yard is spacious and has a covered seating area. 2 blocks off Main Street so you can walk to shops and restaurants. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Only here for 2 nights. Wish I had planned longer. We loved this little slice of heaven. Home was super clean, had all supplies needed. Walked the town, ate several great meals. Walked to river (1 block south). Sooo beautiful. A young doe visited twice. Felt a little odd with there being a permanent resident in basement as she sat outside the whole time we were there so did not use the back yard much because it felt uncomfortable. Overall wonderful.
