The cabin was very nice as well as the outdoor areas to sit on benches by an amazing view of the creek, vegetation and beautiful rock formations. Plus the ice cream store next door was fun!! Staff was amazing!
Loved the place and location for a family getaway to the Black Hills!

It was beyond awesome and we canāt wait to go back. The host were literally a phone call away and responded to my text immediately. It was so beautiful there was a creek right there just steps away from our door. We loved it
We stayed in the Bearās Den cabin during our family vacation in the Black Hills. It was a great spot for our small family and was centrally located to many fun areas.

This was a very clean, well maintained facility. Having the mini golf, play area, and ice cream shop close by, makes it very family friendly.

Hello Rod, Thank You for taking the time to write a 5 star review, it really means a lot to us. We hope you can come again some day, we would like to have you. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. Karen
The property is very well kept and clean. Host was very accessible and helpful. Location is near many attractions and scenery is beautiful. The only negative I can mention is that the shower in the cabin is vary small! If you're a wide or tall person you may feel like you're in a phone booth haha. The shower wasnt a deal breaker but for a large older person it might be a bit difficult.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was centrally located to all we wanted to do and see. If there was one thing, I would have liked it to be farther from the highway as the traffic noise was a bit overpowering at times.
The cabin was beautifully angled toward a creek so the boys could fish any time. We rented Razors , Pantoon boats and fished at several lakes. The cabin was in a perfect location to everything. Wonderful hostess!
all the amenities were nice great people, had a rain storm windows leaked on unit bummer. other than that we had a great time.

Hello Gregg, Thank You for the Wonderful 5 star review, Boy that was a horrible rain storm that we had and I am sorry about the water, just glad that it didn't hurt anything of yours or mine. Karen
We stayed 4 days and 4 night in the Bears den/cabin 2. The cabin was very clean. It had everything we needed minus our toiletries and food. Walking out the door to a beautiful bluff and creek every morning was so relaxing. The location was perfect for sight seeing and visiting all attractions in the black hills. And we went to the Dairy Twist on site for both dinner and desert a couple of nights. And although it is obvious that this is a local favorite, it is worth the wait! Great find for our vacation!

Thank You for the 5-star review Jenny. I am so glad that you took time to enjoy what the Resort has to offer along with all the wonderful things of the Beautiful Black Hills. Hope to see you again! Karen
Door frame rotten at floor and deck. Had to step over each time entering or exiting thinking that we'd step through.
Mentioned to mgr with no reaponse.
Live mouse. We caught and killed. (Kinda to be expected when there is bait inside the unit that we found after the fact while looking for mouse.)
Other than that, the place was clean, peaceful, great location, great staff, great food at the ice cream shop. We've stayed before but will ask more queations before booking again.
Stay went well. Minor hiccup with housekeeping - booked for six but only had four towels and no sheets for pullout bed. Owner brought in more next day. Quiet aside from the main road - expected for tourist area. Mini golf was closed - under maintenance. Cabin has mouse trap and mouse droppings in water heater closet - none visited us though. One AC unit in main living area. We were surprised that it was enough for the whole house. Goose poop covers the yard by the creek - expected - bring old shoes. Not sure why office is only open 9-3. Tourist area. No one is at cabins during that time. Would be better to have split hours - like 7-9am and an on call time during evening. Just my opinion.
Overall, as expected and ok for $$ we paid.

Gregory, Thank You for the review, I am glad that your stay was OK, but I would like to address some of your comments so the people reading get the whole picture. I think the goose droppings bothered you, but most of the people love the geese, ducks, deer, rabbits and other wildlife and that is just part of it. You are correct we get down on our hands and knees and put mouse poison inside the little door to the heater space so the mice don't enter the cabin, I am glad that it works and there were no mice in your cabin. The Mini Golf is not and has not been a part of our business any more and has no longer been in our advertising. I wish your stay had been better for you. I work hard to make our guests happy. Thank You again for the review and bringing up some things that needed to be explained. Karen
Nice place, very clean, very family oriented. We felt it was definitely centrally located for all that we wanted to do & see. Would absolutely stay here again!

Michelle, Thank You for the 5 star review and the kind words I hope you do get to stay here again. Karen
We enjoyed our stay! The unit was very clean and welcoming. The fireplace was a nice touch. The kitchen was furnished with utensils, dishes, pots and pans to satisfy our needs. We would have loved to use the outside grill but we stayed busy sightseeing. Location was a plus as it is central to most of the sites we visited. Thank you!

Noemi, Thank You for the 5 star review and for taking time to let other travelers know about our Resort. I hope you can come again! Karen
It was a perfect place to rest at the end of our busy days! Iād bring some sort of mattress for the loft, as the cushions were pretty flat. Super clean and the family fun zone was a great place for the kids to play.

Thank You for the 5 star review. I am so sorry about the mats in your cabin, that cabin and 1 other are the only ones that we didn't get the new mats in yet.. I am glad that you enjoyed the Fun Zone, Next year we hope to move the Fun Zone to the big open grassy area between the Creek and the cabins. Our hope is to move most of the playground activities there and it will not be enclosed but open to all of our guests at no charge. Please come and see us again. Karen
This cabin was an excellent find. It was clean and the adult bed was comfortable. If you have older children it would be a good idea to bring a sleeping mat/sponge for them to sleep on.
We absolutely loved the family play ground. The mini golf and activities were so much fun to do after evening meals.

Me, my wife, and 3 kids under 8, and the cabins were perfect. The kids LOVED the little loft they got to sleep in. And the property is gorgeous, well located in the middle of everything there is to do in the Black Hills.
