We stayed here for a softball tournament and it was a great location between all the fields. House was perfect. All the amenities and more. My kiddos like to go and play tennis at the nearby courts too. We will be back for sure!

Your hosts are Jim & Connie Ireland, happily married best friends for 20+ years. We are recent empty nesters and love our new life stage. Jim works in Thornton, Colorado full time; Connie works remote with some travel. We love the outdoors, hiking, hunting, fishing, travel, music, concerts, theater, spending time with friends, and staying in our primary residence - a log cabin in the Rockies. It's too far to commute during the work week, so we stay in the basement (and enter through separate door) M-Th, with most weekends/holidays up the mountain (weather permitting). We have 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren (more on the way) and have loved our fur babies through the years, so we understand the importance of having comfortable homebase when traveling with pets/kids. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

We absolutely love our neighborhood and hope you will too! Eastlake/Thornton is a cozy suburb north of Denver known for East Lake (reservoir), nature preserves & local wild turkeys. It’s perfect for runners, dog walkers & outdoor enthusiasts. The property is a short walk from 124th / Eastlake train station, the northern stop on the "N" line to downtown Denver, with easy access to the airport by Uber (about 25 minutes) or commuter train (about an hour). Just 20 miles from Boulder, 50 miles from Fort Collins, this family friendly town has plenty of shopping/restaurants. We're on a cozy, tree-lined cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors, walking distance from Eastlake reservoir, open space, tennis courts, commuter train, and a local bakery that has the best cinnamon rolls in town. Local hair salon and shopping is nearby, as well. Our place has a fenced yard, is pet friendly, and includes all utilities (even Starlink Internet).
