We stayed for an anniversary and the cabin is very clean, new, cozy and comfortable. Host was quick to answer any questions and even took us to tour some amazing nearby atv/dirt bike trails. Definitely recommend the place, experience and host, we will be back!
It was a beautiful cabin and location. If you google the address, just keep going down the road from where it puts you then you’ll see the entrance. Very clean and quiet.

There was no air conditioning and the cabin smelled awful. In the amenities there was a hot tub listed, but this cabin did not have that. There was even a half used pack of cigarettes left on the outside porch. Whole vicinity very trashy. Dangerous area.

The truth here is, this individual showed up even after he canceled his booking, helped himself into a cabin ( not the original one) and stayed there untill the real guest showed up and asked him what he was doing there?
After realizing this I still choose to accommodate this guy,
He was obviously upset and I tried my very best, he was not supposed to be here and was here roughly 30 minutes after being redirected to his original cabin,
It has ac that works very well
The Hottub was temporarily down due to damage sustained by another guest
There is no trash anywhere , it is a beautiful cabin in the woods
Do not hesitate to book with us we will go above and beyond to accommodate you.
My husband and I needed a weekend away. This amazing little cabin was just what we needed! So clean, easy to find, amazing views, and so much more. We definitely will be coming back!

Very remote. Unpaved roads. No signage. No lighting. Creepy vibe. The host said the door would be unlocked when I got there. Unsafe. Not secure. Nothing like the photos. I feel like I was scammed.
No hot tub or internet as advertised, no way of cooking other then an electric burner to put on the countertop, they left in a drawer . No toilet paper so we had to buy our own . Dishes and cooking utensils were dirty with old food still on them and old food left in fridge and cabinets, owners offered a fire pit also , but only a trash burn barrel was seen , with trash still in it . Couldn’t walk around on the porch with spider webs hitting u and bugs inside also , we reserved a two night rental , but left the next day and went home , ruined our weekend! We arrived at 4:00 Friday and left 12:00 Saturday due to being miserable, we were supposed to checkout Sunday morning

Hello to address these issues firstly I would like to apologize for any inconvenience You may have endured while here. None of this was brought to my attention during your stay you made absolutely no mention of it
We did offer you a hot tub that is located on the property. You were given access to an amazing eight person hot tub, which you I guess chose not to utilize.
There is a large burn barrel, but there is also a fire pit located on the side of the cabin by the deck , the kitchen consist of a two burner electric stove as well as a air fryer and outside is a very nice barbecue grill.
The food in the refrigerator you’re referring to are condiments that we leave for our guest
Due to our location, the Wi-Fi can come and go that is common
The bugs are referring to would be stink bugs, and they are a nuisance this time of year and cannot be helped. You can find those anywhere including your own home.
Don’t hesitate to make a reservation with us. We do our very best to accommodate everybody and treat them like family and we do go above and beyond to provide a welcoming and enjoyable stay with a clean and friendly environment.
Cabin was very nice, clean and off the path. Small hot tub perfect for two. Small issue with shield bugs, but we are in the woods so its okay. Make sure you have a car that can semi off roading, getting to the cabin would be difficult in a small car. Over all we had a good time

Hey grant, we’re pleased to hear we were able to provide you with an amazing stay, your wife and yourself were great guest and we will welcome you back here anytime. We look forward to hosting you again in the future, until then take care. Cole and family at braaap mountain
Great Cabin & get away. Host was always close by for concerns or needs. Main purpose was ATV riding. Was disappointed in that. Basically a motocross track with hills, berms, whoops for sport quads or motorcycles. Wanted more trail riding through the woods, hills & scenery. Made the best of it & enjoyed the cabin. Will go back for a relaxing getaway.

New year getaway
My goal is to write this as fair as possible and be informative to others thinking of booking this cabin. First off we arrived after dark and I had a hard time telling where the driveway to the cabin is. In my opinion they are not marked very well. William met us up front and could tell we were lost so he helped check us in. After being checked in we walked into the cabin and it was very cold. I looked for the thermostat and found out the heat comes from portable heaters in each room. This made it difficult to maintain an even temp through the cabin. The pictures showed recliners in the living room and those were replaced by a futon. There was no stove in the cabin so we had to use the toaster oven. Using that and the portable heaters caused a breaker to blow. I messaged William with no response. The breaker took out the refrigerator also. After 30 min. And not hearing from William I decided to find the breaker box. Luckily I reset the breaker but had to unplug the heater while using the toaster oven. Ultimately we decided the cabin was not for us and left the next morning even though we had already paid. William responded the next morning and said the service can be spotty and apologized.. I told him we decided to pack up and leave early. William did offer to put us in another cabin but by that time we had packed up and was on the road. This was a learning experience for us for sure! Welcome 2025 new year!!

Hey Chris, and hello to anybody reading this review
There is directional arrows Directing our guest to their cabins when you pull into the main drive, you can follow the arrows directly to your cabin.
However, you did arrive late and after dark so you could see them and when I noticed you were lost, I came out, walked all the way up the driveway and instructed you right where to go
The cabin is heated with good electric oil heaters and it’s very very well insulated as it is a real log cabin so it does heat fairly quickly and stay heated well
Depending on which outlet You plug into it is possible to pop a breaker it does happen and that’s why the breaker box is conveniently place right there in the closet by the bathroom. It’s easy to find you did the right thing resetting it
I apologize about my late reply as I try to get back to everybody as fast as possible it was New Year’s, and I was in the process of lighting fireworks for all of our guest here so everyone had an enjoyable show you guys included I apologize. I got back with you within a half hour.
I believe the pictures reflect what the Cabin offers very well. You did bring things you needed a full oven to cook ,This cabin does not have that, once you expressed those concerns to me I did offer to upgrade you to a much larger cabin with a full kitchen and eight person hot tub, much more comfortable seating that you would like, at no additional cost, you declined saying you were already leaving even though you were right here still and the cabin I was offering you was right next to yours a short distance away on the same property
I’m sorry that I couldn’t have accommodated you better. I can only take these reviews and try to Learn from them and make this place better
