A weekend away to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors on a roomy porch overlooking some longhorn cattle and a couple donkeys. You can walk down and see them close up. There is a fire pit nearby, but we didn’t use it. We did use the grill and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cozy electric fireplace in the living room was enjoyable since it was still a bit cold out!
We had a great time. Owner was amazing we purchased fresh meat right on site it was pretty cool! Clean and will definitely stay again! Thanks for having us
There are two cabins currently on this family owned, 100 acre, property. Cattle and farm animals close by to see. Tony is very nice and the property was beautiful. Definitely coming back again. Also, don’t bring any meat or eggs. You can purchase farm raised meat and eggs that can be delivered on call!
The cabin was perfect for my husband and myself! It was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub felt nice with the freezing temps outside! We also enjoyed the games that were provided. Three time Skip-Bo champ right here!
Booked this property for my girlfriends birthday! It was my first time in the area but she had been before just hadn't stayed at this property. She was so pleased! The owner Tony communicated perfectly providing timely details and clearing up issues immediately. The property overlooks a ranch with bulls, cows and other animals. We were greeted in the morning by a rooster but we enjoyed it she named him Joe for some reason. The hot tub was excellent and we got some great use out of it. The amenities were more than we expected but a very pleasant surprise. We can't say enough good things about the property! It was also close to Hocking hills parks we went to rock house which was a great experience. So pleased with the visit and will look to book again in the future.
This property was clean, quiet and just lovely! The owner was helpful and kind, the steer, donkeys and other livestock were so much fun to feed and very friendly!
This was my second time visiting The Loft. The cabin is clean and well stocked. The property is gorgeous, full of farm animals and long horned cattle. There was even an option to have fresh meat/eggs delivered to the door (highly recommended! SO fresh!) Small town 10 min down the road and all hocking trails within 20 min. The hot tub was so refreshing after a day of hiking and had a great view of the starry night sky. 10/10!
Had a very relaxing time for our anniversary staying at this beautiful cabin. Had all the essentials for living comfortably. Hot tub was perfect. All the enimals were so sweet. Would definitely stay here again. Nice and quiet!
Great weekend away in beautiful woods. The farm animals were an added bonus. Super clean with everything we needed. Convenient to Ash Cave and Old Man’s cave.
The property is beautiful. We loved the longhorn cattle as you drove in. The cabin was secluded in the woods. It was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed to cook. It was awesome they had a propane and charcoal grills.
Stayed for 2 nights. Cabin was outfitted well and everything worked. Tony was personable and easy to get in touch with if there were any problems or questions. Only minor issue was the water pressure in the shower.which could have been a bit higher Hot tub was great. Would recommend the Loft.
Came down for my birthday weekend to relax with friends. We had the best time and enjoyed the view and the cows. Being away from the city and enjoy each others company was just what we needed. A great place to stay and get away!
The Loft is a beautifully made and maintained cabin. It has just about anything you need. I was able to cook 3 meals with very little effort because all hardware (and some spices I forgot) were provided in the kitchen. Only one suggestion to future guests, if you have joint or back problems, the bed is a bit of a tight squeeze for 2 because of it being built into the “A” frame roof. The mattress is comfortable, but the roof is “right there” for the one that sleeps on the “inside” so it could be uncomfortable. I have had back surgery, so our 3rd night, I slept on the futon, which was amazing!
We also experienced a road closure while we were there and were given excellent directions around it!
We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Do yourself a favor and take your morning beverage out on the porch to listen to the animals on the farm. I miss that already!
The cabin is beautiful clean sitting in the hot tub and looking out through all the woods and the trees amazing. Contact with the owner was incredible within just a couple minutes he always replied back answered any questions we had. I think pretty much everybody would enjoy this cabin in their state parks stores pretty much almost anything you could want is really pretty close.
This little log cabin provided a peaceful place for my husband and I to relax and enjoy being in Hocking Hills for the first time. Everything is neat and clean and the host has thought of all the details. Thank you so much!
We arrived without any issues. We found the cabin perfect for our needs. The porch provides an absolutely lovely experience, surrounded by nature's beautiful slights and smells and it was so quiet. We enjoyed s'mores over a cozy fire and relaxed in the hot tub. We will definitely visit again.
We had a great stay, and enjoyed the cozy cabin. Everything was as advertised, and the owner went above and beyond to return to me an item I left there on accident. We’ll stay there again and you should too!

I was born and raised in this area, my family has been in the area for several generations, I guess I would be considered a local. I built and maintain these cabins, I also raise registered Texas Longhorn cattle. If any time is left I spend it building and restoring old trucks or taking them to shows and cruise ins.
Why they chose this property
I guess I didn't choose this area I was born in the area and my family has been in this area for several generations
What makes this property unique
Brimstone ridge cabins is locally owned, managed and maintained by the owner which makes any issues quick to be handled. The cabins offer a great place to relax after enjoying the many local attractions or you have all you need to just stay at the cabin. cabins are secluded and private with thick private woods to hike, a stocked pond is also on the property for catch and release fishing or take a short hike to visit the longhorn cattle that you pass by on your drive into the cabin ( the pond and cattle can also be accessed by car if you are not the hiking type) .
.The cattle are very tame and like visits from guests and enjoy treats .
