Everything was nice and clean. The hot tub was super nice! There were even some dishes there to use which was nice. It had everything we needed. And a great size.
This was a great location! The space was perfect and the hot tub was a plus. The only thing I would suggest is having a flashlight or lantern to go out to the hot tub in the evening or if by chance there was a power outage.
Cabin was a little dated but for the price everything was as expected. It was clean when we arrived. There were some bugs but if you're used to cottages like I am that's considered pretty normal. I have a cottage of my own so I know how that goes. Very nice location, short drive to the caves. The twin beds are very thin and not comfortable but the larger bed is. Good value overall. My husband snores so I had hoped to sleep on the twin bed but the couch ended up being more comfortable for me. We brought our dog, he had no issues. Hot tub was nice but had bugs in it that I had to remove but again that's something you should expect when staying out in the woods.
This is a lovely pet-friendly, cozy, comfortable and clean cabin with nice amenities. It is a quiet area with nice privacy, and it was quite enjoyable to stay here. Our host was very considerate and helpful.
Super cute property! Not too hard to find quiet and private will keep in favorites for other visits to hocking hills! Hot tub had a slight issue but was still functioning enough to use one side! Host has said a new one is on the way so hopefully that wont be an issue for future guests! Perfect spot not too horribly far from the caves!
Great location, semi secluded with great view of the open sky, but close enough to deep woods to hear nature. Everything about the property was as described in the listing and that communication prior to our visit was extremely helpful. The hot tub was also very relaxing. The property was clean, allowed dogs which was a huge plus, and wasn't too far from Hocking Hills attractions. Really, all good things.
Cozy little cabin. My husband and I enjoyed our stay for Valentine’s Day weekend. Bed was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal. Loved the wood burner, definitely gave a genuine cozy cabin feel. Would definitely book again! Thank you!

It’s a nice place and affordable if you need somewhere to stay, but not what we were expecting. Thought it would be more secluded. Had a shared driveway with neighbors close by. I get it’s a dog friendly house, but when I have to sweep up because I was stepping on so much hair and dirt, that tells me the cleaning person didn’t clean well. Other than that, it was ok to stay.

My husband & I rented this cabin for our anniversary weekend & were highly disappointed after driving 3 hours ONE WAY. We did our best to make the best of it, especially after booking in July & our stay was the end of October.Upon arrival, there was fecal matter on the one toilet, toothpaste all over the wall at the sink, as well as on the faucet & the base of the handles. On the other toilet looked to be pubic hairs & a used wash cloth in the shower. When checking for bedbugs, my husband found potato chips between the loveseat cushions & a bobby pin on the coffee table. We've stayed in cabins that were far deeper into the woods & have never experienced a cabin in such a poor condition such as this one. We arrived hoping for the best despite noting some negative feedback from previous renters and observing changes made to the listing's description post-booking, we arrived intending to judge the property on our own experience. With 15yrs of cleaning experience, I can confidently say this cabin was NOT cleaned after the previous renters. At best it was bug bombed before our stay, which is all we smelt inside. The heating system was caked in built-up dust. The shelf that the duster was on, had visible dust while the duster looked like the cleanest thing in the entire cabin. My husband dusted that shelf & we're both confident that was the first & only time the duster would ever be used. We will not be returning, we do wish you're cabin a clean, bright future.

I’m sorry your one-way drive was three hours to the Hocking Hills Region.
I feel awful the cabin was not cleaned to your standards. I’d recommend notifying the property manager upon discovery (I mention this in the ad and I try to also mention it in the welcome email from VRBO,) instead of waiting until after checkout to let us know there is an issue. After checkout, nothing can be done to correct the problems.
I hope you were still able to enjoy the beautiful weather down there this past weekend. The fall colors changing are amazing.
Sorry you won’t be back. We wish you the best.
The Hot tub was great and the kitchen had everything thing we needed. The cabin was clean and and in a great location. Hopefully we will get to stay again sometime. The beds were even comfortable.
Only complaint, which isnt even a complaint given the time of year, is that the hot tub was already shut down for season, the cabin was nice, peaceful and quiet, defined recommend.

Thanks for your great comments and review! I listed in the ad that the hot tub is drained in the winter - sorry if you missed that.
We hope to have you back soon!
Everything was absolutely wonderful with the cabin!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! We will definitely stay at Valley Ridge again if we ever get back down to Hocking Hills.

We truly tried to make this customer happy. The hot tub was working with no issues the first evening of their arrival, but they didn’t happen to use it.
The second evening - the circulation pump had failed which made the tub trip the breaker.
We had the spare part onsite but we could not get a repair company there on a Sunday.
I thought allowing them to leave with a late checkout on Sunday and giving them a $50 refund immediately for the hot tub issues would help. I tried my best.
